How much $$$ do you have invested???

..........Then i had to sew a sleeve with strap to carry the 2 cases as one. The rest would be bridge hand ..........QUOTE]

Wow!! You dedicate your bridge hand to playing pool and leave it in you case? Thats incredible, I've never seen such dedication!! I use my bridge hand to do various other tasks, such as Drive, Eat, twist open Jars, pick things up that are 2 heavy for only my right hand to handle, among various other things. I thought I was dedicated, but someone who goes 1 handed while not playing pool just to have a perfect bridge hand when he comes back, simply remarkable!!

Used Tim Scruggs cue for playing: $1250 (Thanks, cueaddicts !)
Break cue, Falcon JB: about $200 10 years ago.
Smooth papers, playing gloves, Q-clean etc. $50

Adds up to $1600.

Edit: Oh, and a hard unknown leather case. About $200. So, it all adds up to $1800

$$$ makes me sick to think about it :D

All cues mentioned are for sale also - except the Southwest.

Most of you have seen the collection listed for sale in the classifieds at some point or another - everything from Schick to Szamboti to Gina to Balabushka.

Also have one of the fanciest Ariel Carmeli's to date. Ivory, ivory and more ivory.

Oooohhh Noooo.

This sounds like the wife found where someone is posting.

How much have I spent vs. how much I'll admit to??

I'm not tellin :)

I will still need a place to sleep in case she ever does read this.

Dave
I carry usally about 4,000 to $5,000 4 cues 4x8 case 2 jump cues and jamed full of every thing even some vicoden

i skipped some of the middle pages so i might be the cheapest one here lol

I shoot with a players 3 piece cue that I found left at a bar, i waited for a week to see if someone claimed and they didnt so ive laid claim to it. I was given a soft case by someone else... I bought a 12$ box of chalk, a 19$ tip tool, i splurged on a 40$ measles cue ball for practice and a week ago i bought 5 pool/biliard books second hand on amazon.com for a total of 22$ shipped.

So I think im into it for around 12 + 19 + 40 + 22 = 93$ and the house i play out of has a free table :)

Once I am good enough to be able to tell the difference between my cue and anice que I will pick one up, i've been playing for less than a year.

Beginners cue "Luxor" with 1/1 hard case - 100 ?
great for beginners and even amateurs, a good comrad from my army time still plays with it

Upgraded to Jim Davis - 280 ?
Didn't know it was a decal cue when I bought it
The Luxor served as a break cue from then on
3/5 case for 20?

Mythus by Marathon (chinese Sledgehammer) - 125?
sold the before mentioned Luxor for 25? to my comrad

1st series 314 shaft with 5/16x18 joint matching my Jim Davis cue - 200?

2/4 real leather case - 150?

Sold Jim Davis w/ 314 to a team mate for 150?

Mezz Z 606 - 700?
great playing cue, comes with Moori medium tip and WD700 is is a much nicer shaft than the 314 - and it's a real cue, not some maple stick with decal foil on it

So by now I'm at 1.400 ? and the next 300 ? are already planned with the Mezz Extension and a used Espiritu B/J
I'll keep the Mythus by Marathon for a while as a jump cue until I've decided between Airshooter, Bunjee and Franz Hauber as I can't fit three butts in my case but have a jumpstick pouch on the side of the bag
I want more cueball control on the break so that's why I want the Espiritu having a normal ferrule and leather break tip, but I find B/J's hard to jump with, so I'm looking for a good jumpstick as well
Adding the jumper it's another 100-150?, so I get fairly close to the 2.000 ? barrier:eek:

And I start to think about a self designed BCM or the Ariel Carmeli 404 - so add 2.000 more my 2010 or something:embarrassed2:

Whitten Case - $350, 2 Cues-Varies but typically 3K - 5K, Pocket Cash - $200 - $1000, HK USP Compact 40 - $1600

mine:

cues
schon 600
rich/doc fry 035
joss 750
espiritu 150
2nd espiritu 150
carolina cue 175
huebler 30
fury j/b free
mali, cobra, sneakey pete(that would do wcfield proud)50

cases
it's george 5 of them for about 350
3 generics about 100
accessories
around 200
=========around $2500 give or take a few this is pretty much my cost for them ,not the street value-about 30%-50% more
i like to take a 1x2 george case with the rich/doc fry cue with a couple of schon shafts when i travel a bit.

Too much IMHO.........

So far it's a little over a grand, which consists of my Judd, Case and a few accessories. In a month with the addition of my 2 Prewitts, that price is going to hit the 7k mark. By the end of the year with my Gina being made as well as a few others.....I don't EVEN want to think about it........
