How much to buy a Diamond table after the DCC this year?

Hey all,

Anyone have any idea how much one of these tables is going to run, or is it negotiable?

I've changed my plans, and after I come back from Iraq, I am closing off the garage, carpeting it, and putting in my Diamond table. Saves me a crapload of money over paying for an addition, and gets me outta Iraq quicker, too.

Hey Russ,

Try this link. I've found DIamond to be very quick to respond. Good Luck!

Hey I just thought ofd something. Maybe you could PM Greg/Diamond, I think he'll have the answer for you, too.

How much for tournament used Diamond

I recently purchased a Diamond Pro-Am table and when I was inquiring about the costs I was given a price for a tournament used table.

Basically, they are $400 cheaper and are the exact tables used. No changes. At one point I was interested in an IPT tournament used table but I wanted Simonis cloth instead of Gorina. I had to take the Gorina green cloth if I wanted one.

Diamond pricing is pretty much no-haggle pricing as far as I could tell.

In any event, I am very happy with my Diamond.

Hope this helps.

So, what was the actual cost?

DCC used tables

Most of the tables used at the DCC are coin operated, however the 2 AZ tables as well as the finals table are pro am's and definitely need a home!.....We are in the business to sell tables, but I'd rather keep this forum away from the business aspect of pool...Please call Brian at 812-288-7665 and he will be glad to help you with pricing and every thing you need in pool supplies....Then you can post prices and it takes the heat off me..thanks, Greg/Diamond

Greg,

I have been in contact with Paul Smith, but I just tried to send him payment information to reserve a Pro Am w/light, and your email server appears to be having some problems, as all emails are getting kicked back..

Russ,
The price I quoted you for changing your orignal order from a Diamond Pro to a Diamond ProAm is the tournament used price plus a military discount. If you're looking to beat that price, you're going to have to look in the used table market, but just to let you know something first, I know of plenty of used Diamond Professionals for sale, and I do mean plenty, but I don't know of ONE ProAm 9ft for sale. IMO they're just not resold that I'm aware of very often. They're like gold, easy to buy new, but hell trying to find used.

What's the difference in these tables?

The Diamond Professionals have been around for quite a while when compared to the 9ft ProAm's for one. Two, the ProAm's all have one piece slates in them. Three, not downgrading the Diamond Professional any, IMO the 9ft Diamond ProAm is the best built 9ft pool table on earth, and I know if I had one...I'd never sell it. But soon enough, I'll add one to my collection of the very first Diamond 9ft "Smart Table" ever built and the only one to ever have a 30mm 3 piece slate in it.

30mm slate sounds deadly. Don't let it go off in your hand.

Glen,

Yup, I want a Pro/Am instead for the price you quoted. I haven't put down the deposit yet, and I emailed Paul Smith asking to change the order, I haven't gotten a response yet. Not unusual, considering it's the holidays. Considering the Pro/Ams have Dymondwood rails, I think the price you quoted me in a good buy. I'm just waiting on the email from Diamond now.

Thanks,

Russ

Good choice Russ, but just to let you know that price I quoted you came from Brian, so I'd still follow up with him as to insure your order as I don't work for Diamond, I just happen to be in contact with Brian and Chad most of the time due to delivering a lot of their pool tables out west. Once again, good choice, because if you wanted to wait around to get a used Diamond, though they are around, you'd almost need to be in the right place, at the right time to get one, as they go fast...LOL @#@#@ the tables I knew of last week...are already gone...LOL..guess it must be Christmas...and Santa has a truck and trailer like I do..hehe
