I couldn't agree more. I started playing seriously back in the late 60's, it wasn't like it is now where everybody is a damned champeeen! LOL, I took my lumps and was better off for it. You start accepting weight IMO and you end up lazy. You start giving weight and you end up with an excuse to loose.
To get better, you need to bear down and grind out a win. How are you going to ever feel good about a win (even if its only one single game) if you are getting a spot? If you win you don't win. Bad thing taking weight, maybe even worse than giving it.
