I did see him going into the public restroom at the KOH tourney and I quipped that I couldn't believe he would use the public facility, maybe he had a gold-plated catheter or something. <being totally tasteless and facetious>

I also heard for tax purposes, he had to get rid of $140M in one day! So he bought a yacht and plane for $30M each and not sure what he did with the other $80M.

Anyway, for anyone thinking that Mr. Trudeau NEEDS the money from the IPT tour, yeah, he wants to make money as a business and looks to make a profit, but I don't think he is exactly hurting.

This was merely to point out 1. That the IPT is well-financed. 2. To put in context where he is on the money scale spectrum.

Do you really think we have sold out for playing on the IPT? I just think we are incredibly fortunate to be a part of pool history. I have always tried to make something happen in the industry - by contributing time and money - to start a tour or run events and I applaud Kevin's efforts and ideas to actually make money at it while contributing to our sport. Never forget how lucky pool is. It could have been tiddlywinks that he contributed to!

This has been beaten to death. It was Sigel that got KT interested in pool. If there were no Sigel, there would be no IPT.

Oprah is personally worth more then a billion but the company she runs may be worth 50 billion who knows same with Spielburg. Kevin claims to head a company worth 2 billion, if true a fraction of what Oprah's is worth, but that does not mean he has all that much himself, he can be in debt for all you know and still look good on paper. Even Trump says he has more then he really does big deal! he even goes as far as calling certain buildings his own, when he merely has his name on it and maybe 1% ownership in it. In that case, I guess I can say I own Apple computers, and Wal-Mart

It's just not important how much he's worth, 200 million, 500 million or whatever, he's sure not hurting for bucks and the IPT will be flush with money for at least 2 years at which time it will be judged on well it does, not his money.

I do think he's having a blast and doing this for the fun of it, but you can bet he wouldn't have touched it with a 10 foot poll if he didn't think he could turn it into a successful business. Honestly a lot of the fun is in trying to make something from nothing (or something small) I think he can do it and I think pool is a money machine in the right hands.

I don't care what he is worth. As long as the players get paid better, I am all for it. I got guys in Arena football making more than world class pool players. Problem is can't draw a crowd other than players that actually appreciate what is going on. Hell, anyone who doesn't know a damn thing about football can go to a game, drink beer and have a good time and maybe spend more money than someone who actually knows what a post pattern is.
