How to carry a cue case on a motorcycle?

Just get a regular school backpack and put in there and zip up tight. I use to do it every weekend till it got cool. Now i'm going to be doing it again soon.

You might want to check out the Sterling "Wave" case, it has two padded straps so you can wear it like a backpack.

Pretty reasonable too, a little over $100 as I recall.

I strap it on diagonally behind me on my back. Just let the strap out enough and away you go!

Looking for some good ideas.

How do you carry your 2X2 or 2X4 case on a motorcycle? It won’t fit in the saddle bags !
Pictures appreciated.

I ride a Yamaha Custom XVS650

jim murnak makes cases with two straps, so it fits like a backpack, for riding the cycles. The best case out there IMHO...JS

Don't have a pic to show you but I place my cue case between my windshield and my handlebars on my Harleys... it's just a slip fit but it works fine.

If you have a windshield, find a case size that fits and use it. Otherwise, across the back diagonally like a quiver of arrows.

That's how I used to do it, Dave...and I agree, it works out just great! If the strap is long enough, it will slide over the front of the windshield, limiting movement almost completely. Not to mention, if it's raining, the case sees very little if any water.

Motorcycles and carrying a cue

I would caution everyone to be careful strapping the cue to a factory luggage rack. I ruined the finish on a classic old Schon once this way riding a Harley Ultra and carrying the cue in a Porper case. The vibration of the bike caused the case to rub the butt sleeve enough to turn the finish very cloudy. Only made that mistake once....

Now I wear the cue like a samuri sword... Limiting but I don't worry about the vibes causing finish wear.

So if I'm understanding everybody, it's not good to just tie a string to the case and drag it behind the bike?!!

Back in the stoneage...Jon "The Polish Prince" Dovinsky traveled all over onna motorcycle, cue strapped across his back. I was a pup when he was doing this so when I asked him to validate the story he said "oh yeah, road all over NY/NJ with my case over my shoulder like a quiver".

I rode for 25 yrs and always hadda cue across my handlebars bunjeed to the triple tree, lol. Now I just lay it in the back seat of my truck...itsa bish gettin old.

My ride is a Harley Davidson Electra Glide and I just lay the case crossways across the handlebars and bungee it on. Out of the way and works fine.

I ride a Ninja ZX6R
If i am going over 15 miles i take my player cue and carry it is a single case I strap it to the frame and along the rear seat using bungee cords (the stick is actually under your knee)
If under 15 mi I just strap my case on my back like majority of users.

Passenger back rest....

I just slip the passenger back rest onto my Road Glide, put the cue case in front of it and bungie it down securely. I've been doing that on my bikes for years and have never had a problem.
Now when I was trying haul my guitar around...

Yamaha XVS650

I've been riding on a motorcycle and off for nearly 40 years, was a bit nervous going cruser style, and went with the 650 because i could afford it new. I've had my yammy for just over a year now and have done 11000 kms. The first year has been basically trouble free apart from a buzz in the headlight which the dealer fixed under warranty and a small oil leak in the gearbox, for which a new gasket is coming, again under warranty. I had the exhaust opened up a bit by Redline Exhausts and it sounds great and gives it a bit more presence in traffic. It gets used for commuting and weekend rides, and spends a lot of time on the curvy stuff in the Adelaide hills.
