How to clean powder off

I just bought a new lucasi cue with irish linen wrap and recently used some powder while playing. The powder is stuck in the wrap and I'm just wondering what would be a good way to clean it and get the powder out in a safe way so i wont damage any parts of my cue

If you leave it alone, it will eventually get worked out of there from use. If it bugs you, you probably should take it to a cue repair guy, they can clean up a wrap very well without any damage. Someone cleaned a Joss for me that had 10+ years of use and the grip looked and felt like it was brand new. Granted it was Mike Webb so it's based one one of the top cue guys in the country, but I'm sure even a middle of the road repair guy can do the job well.

I don't like trying to clean out an linen wrap as you tend to make it rough and uneven if you try to clean it much more than a wipe of a cloth.

Man just take a damp wash cloth and wipe the crap off, and next time don't powder up your grip hand and you'll never have that problem again.

Spray

Try spraying some quick clean on a micro fiber cloth and use this to get the powder out of your wrap.

you are powdering the wrong hand

It can get confusing if you turn 180 degrees away from the table to reach for the powder though.... you guys just don't realize.

Me personally, I use 600 paper on my shaft and when it wears out I buy another $30 one.
