How to draw the markings on a table?

I'm going to be putting markings on all the tables at a local poolhall (as the mechanic didn't know how/didn't want to).

These are mainly straight pool tables, so I need the rack outline and a line going back to the end rail from the foot spot. Question is, how do you determine where the rack outline goes? Because the rack needs to move up and down to remove after the balls are placed, do you just add a certain distance?

Also, what about the "D" on a snooker table?

Any advice would be helpful. Thanks

Figured I should repost this here. How do you make the outline of the rack large enough so that it can move to place the balls?

It would probably be easier to explain by phone. call me.

A 'freind' did mine. The rack is crooked. The new cloth won't be drawn on... unless RKC will do it. Then I'd love to have a rack drawn on it. I'm capable of marking the head, center and foot spots.

Someone that knows how to do it right should make up templates fot 7, 8, 9, and 10-foot bables and sell them. Charge $14.95 each. What a deal, get-em while there hot. Johnnyt

Someone already did but for the life of me can't recall who carried them. Damn!
