How to finish up this Titlest

I usually dont like a lot of stuff added to a titlist , But you have done a fantastic job so far , cue is Really going to be Beautiful . Jim
 
Jim, Thanks much for the compliments! I don't do that many titlest, so I like to take chances. The consensus is for Cortland, so that's what it's going to be.
I really wanted to do smooth shiny black leather, but I've never done it before and don't want to screw it up on this cue.

Think you're making the right choices for finishing off the cue. Although, the pearlized butt cap would be sweet too. :D

I was thinking about the pearlized butt cap, but the stuff is really brittle and I'm not sure that I would be comfortable with using it for a butt cap. I'll probably go 2 old school dark shafts with ivory and one hybrid shaft. Should I make joint protectors?
 
That turned out great - I think I'll change my vote from Cortland to Smooth Black Leather! Awesome cue Steve.

I really dig that cue, everything about it.

I was wrong about the linen, you made the right choice, the black leather is absolutely perfect on that cue.
 
Holy Crapola! I started "liking" these conversions a few months ago...in fact I just had one finished up for me and should be here this week!

I gotta say this turned out FANTASTIC!!! I'm curious to know if it already has a home or not...if not, please let me know!

I can't tell you how many times I have come back to gawk at that cue. :embarrassed2::embarrassed2:

JAMSGOLF if you end up with that thing I'm gonna have to confiscate your $35.00 cue......it just wouldn't be right.......

Well, that and I would have to hate you for having such a nice cue..... :D



And you ordered a conversion? OMG....pics will be in order.....it's like a rule or something....... :)
