How would you do this?

I don't think the double bank is possible in either corner with that starting angle. It puts the wrong spin on the OB, as a couple of other members mentioned. You need to get it super close to almost banking it in one rail for it to go 2 rails. But there are interfering balls on both sides of the table near either 1 rail pocket.

Possible. Bottom left looks like those cross side reverses and bottom right looks wide open. Three in the right side is also there.

Based on how many times I've tried it and how many I've made, I think you're onto something.

If you bounced the 8, both 3 in the side and 3 in the bottom right can happen. You also have a 4 to the bottom right. I don't know if that one goes though.

You might also have a ticky off the 9 which might leave tough if it hangs.

Bob J's shot is good but I have a gift for not sinking the objective ball.
 
Well.....you are a favorite to lose this rack...so hard to judge the second rail...I don't like an attempt at a 2 rail........What would I do?.....Punt.....I would attempt to bank toward the 9 but bank long at just above the middle diamond with pocket speed....and try and go one rail with the CB and freeze the CB to the 10.....The 8 may go in off the 9......It may send the 9 to the end rail and the 8 hangs in the pocket as a blocker.............or most likely you will sell out.....Just in case.......Don't forget to call the pocket so that when it goes in off the 9.....they know you meant to do that.

Another option is a kick in the side....find the contact point and use the mini mirror system to line up the angle...being a relatively short and narrow kick...you have a very good chance of sending that 8 toward the side pocket and at least scaring your opponent....

y'all are thinking way too inside the bun...

Distract your opponent briefly, nudge the ten out of the way, cut the 8 in the corner, then celebrate disproportionately. Possibly including a full air-guitar solo across the butt of your cue while chicken strutting around the table multiple laps.

Some of you all just don't understand this game...
 
Can you even reach it without an extension? With the extension you would have trouble powering the object ball. Bob Jewett correct in shooting one rail make the fifteen but call the eight as well and find a spot on the rail to leave the cueball. Phone a friend to shoot it for you - that be John Brumback!!!!!!!

Yep. Bottom line he's 99.9% toast here.
 
I would just slow roll the 8 ball off the short rail up behind the 10 and leave the CB as close to the short rail as possible leaving only the top of the CB for him to make contact with. He won’t have the 10 or 14 and he’ll choose the 15 over the 9 . If he’s a pretty good player he’ll roll the CB off the 15 to get to the 9 but a lot of players will give it some speed since it’s at the other end of the table, hitting it thick, and the top spin will leave him on the far short rail with only the 14 to shoot at. Either way he’ll still have to break out the 10. If you go for the double bank you’ll be racking
