How Would YOU Play It?

A fun way to play the 6 is one rail in the opposite side pocket with inside spin (and near stun). The slight cut angle and firm speed caroms the CB to the left toward the 7. I'll leave the rest to others.

The bank kinda jumped to my mind too. I would be aboit 50/50 to bank it for funsies, or on my home table.

The cross over bank works, but on this shot. Isn't inside English, left english
and outside English, right English. Please tell me your using outside, not inside

Right english is inside for this shot (you're cutting it to the right toward the rail). Right english is what's needed to twist the bank to the opposite pocket.

Power follow the 6 with top right, kind of a pop shot to clear the 11, go 3 or 4 rails for the 7

12 will be in play then... You'd be lucky to get by it. I don't rely on luck... Same reason I don't use top and come across to the 13...

Ding Ding Ding!! We have a winner.. Good call Patrick..

Slight crossover with some inside will put the 6 cross side and natural shape on the 7..

Had this shot come up last night and got out for the cheese...

Nice shot.

I expected the 6 ball bank would go '2 times' back to the side it points at.

Hit with some speed. Center stun with half tip right. Cb bump end rail, and back out for the 7.

I hit it pretty good in my head.:p

You hit it better, on the table....good shot.

I can get behind the 12

So can I BUT anytime you use the phrase "power follow" within the same sentence that says "3 or 4 rails" AND there is a ball you have to avoid off the 2nd or 3rd rail, well lets just say YOU are not in total control of the outcome. My shot is actually an easier shot where position is just just about guaranteed... But play it like you want to. That's what makes it "your" game :)

You can actually make that ball 1, 2 or 3 rails cross side by cutting it more or less (and hitting it harder/softer). Ask to double the bet for each rail hit.

safety...one rail on the 6 to put in on the rail behind the 7, and off the rail with CB to hide it behind 8 and 10

And hit the 12, leaving the cb in a worse soot than if you had just rolled forward a couple feet?

Yeah, I've done that...many times.

Not to mention that the 11 may be in play as well with that route. Not much play with that side pocket...

Depends on the equipment. On a bar box I probably take the cut on the 7. On a 9' I probably play safe putting the cue ball behind the 8-10 and sending the 6 up table.

We can make it, just a silly shot. Maybe you can't make the seven if you rolled the 6 in??

Why when I can make the 6 easily?... The position is easier AND I'm in full control of the cue off the seven.. NOT so much with a thin cut on the 7... That's all well and good though, you play your game the way you want...
