Just a friendly warning guys.

I have now booked the trip for Las Vegas and the US Open One Pocket Championships!

If you don't like drunk Norwegians, stay at home! :D

I'm both alarmed and happy at the same time.

Alarmed that you are contributing to the growing "drunk Norwegians in America" crisis. I really thought our new administration was making progress in reducing this epidemic; but I guess I was mistaken.

Happy though that you will see some high quality pool...that's always nice.

While I enjoy playing one pocket, my skill level is rudimentary and not competitive at this point so I will not be playing in the tournament.

WATCHING one pocket (without a shot clock), however, is something I find VERY difficult. Akin to sitting in the dentist's chair...so I will not be attending the tournament either.

I will be rooting for you (I'm assuming you have already pledged half of your winnings to the "help eliminate drunk Norwegians in America" campaign - either that or you will drink enough for 3 or 4 Norwegians and they will not have enough alcohol available to contribute to this grave crisis)

Would be cool if you could make it, you're one of the first guys I talked to on here, so hope we can meet someday!

You know, in Vegas there's the 14-1 Challenge going on, you will love watching that! :)

The picture is photoshopped by "derekdisco", so isn't my truck. But a lot of companies in Norway use English anyway, especially in my area where the international oil-companies are located, so it could have been a company-name from here :)

I'll be there from May 10th on. Looking forward to meeting you. I'm playing in several amateur events. Hope there is time to get a whole bunch of AZ'ers together while we're there. Have a safe trip over.

Roy,

There is no 14.1 event in Vegas. You must be thinking of Super Billiards Expo next month in King of Prussia, PA. Events in Vegas other than the BCAPL National Amateur events are the US Open One Pocket and the US Open 10 Ball.
