...but when I see cues made by people with less experience selling (being listed) for more than cues made by people with dozens of years more experience and cues modified by someone no one has ever heard of selling for more than they were new makes me think Obama has made everything right in the world and we should say special prayers this Thanksgiving!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Someone had to say it....

I really hate it when I miss out on postings, have links?

There is a section for those who enjoy throwing their political views into the mix. Try the "Non Pool Related" section for that kind of disscusion. I'll bet you will find LOTS of like-minded individuals that you can espouse your views with/upon.
You have every right to buy or not buy from any seller. Your thread is selling nothing. Can you maybe put some black plastic joint protectors or a nice slightly used cube of chalk up for sale so we know you meant to post here for legit reasons?
....cause he is in charge and I wanted to give him credit for making this huge financial turnaround so all I pointed out was possible. :)

Just because a cue maker has a decade of experience or more, doesn't discount from a new makers quality!!! Just because a particular "old" cue maker has been doing it for 30 yrs, doesn't mean the new cue maker, is a lesser cuemaker!! Especially w/ new glues and precise machines, combined w/ old woods!

Would we have said Szamboti was a lesser cuemaker when following Balabushka? Hmmmmm! :)

Then you get the heartfelt "can't believe this is still here!!!" comments...definitely worth a chuckle or two.

Yep, 5 grand for a frankenstein cue is about the best one I've ever heard...
Does that mean I can't have real diamonds put in my 40 year old Bushka and make it worth EVEN MORE!!! ;)

I actually did set diamonds in a Meucci once. Traded it for a Honda. True story!

So you get to say what is ok?

Yes, as a matter of fact, we did.

No, but I do like pointing out the obvious.

There is a difference if someone like Dennis Searing does the modification, than 4 fingered Freddie the lathe jockey.

As you're saying all things being equal, they may not be lesser in quality, however even Hyundai started with the Excel and the Excels price. If I am going to spend Mercedes money than I am getting the Mercedes.

JV (----just an opinion

Opinions are like butt holes....

Implying you would know the difference doesn't mean it's true. Have you examined any of Richards cues? Have you examined the two cues for sale here? Ignorance is bliss. I've looked at your website and you have very good cues so I assume you'd be a pretty good judge of cues you actually examined. We have a mutual friend who says you're a good guy
and I believe him. What I don't like is bratty nonsense from someone obviously better qualified. Snarky innuendo is better
between teenagers, we both left that behind. I suggest we just drop this and go on.

You really should check out RJH Cues. Richard is a master craftsman, I know him and have examples of his work.

Mike the Bike:groucho: Frankensteins friend.

I noticed you have a Doc Frye, he was a good friend and I'm interested in that cue.
