Well I (imo) robbed this guy from a 60 year old ''salem'' saunier-wilhem 9 footer. He bought his house with the pool table already in it, and he thought it was such a major undertaking too remove it, he decided to sell for 100.00 $. I was on craigslist on a whim, and saw the table for sale, I thought it was a typo, called him up and sealed the deal. Before this I didn't know a s/w from a brunswick......they're similar. I'm sure this guy thought it was a one piece, I knew better...paid the man and was out his house 15 minutes. It's been 6 month's now I played enough( on it) to get me back in the game, so to speak....should have a pic here somewhere'
Soon as I get a photo site......

Damn nice find! Guy obviously wanted the table gone, so I'd call this a win-win deal.

Alittle bit about me,
I played in the APA for about 4 years......the team I was on was close to vegas.....2 games in fact, This was back in the late 90's......since then I've been playing golf mostly. But I remember the snowy nights and the waiting for tourney night. I figure what the hell I was a pretty good 4 when I played ,even went to being a 5 when I stepped away.........now it's a usa league I'm in....well at least called this guy, he hasn't called me back yet.....So may have game.......it's in my cellar.

yes, it is. Plays like a table should, Now I must admit....I played a long time ago on worn out cloth (you could see the stitch pattern)....that was like playing on ice, this table I could lag the length and back with a 4 inch steady stroke.....It plays fine but definately not quick.

If it's simonis cloth, it's not intended to be installed upside down. It's sheared for smooth side up so it doesn't effect ball roll.

You might like a slower table but your object ball could be effected on slower played shots by the coarse side of the cloth.

I just had fresh simonis installed on my table, and the sliding conditions make for really fun play. Lots of action on the cue ball and better control with stun shots. Good luck with your playing, and congrats on the table.

Yep, I agree...but seeing as I was gonna shit can the felt in the first place I figured what the hell do I have to lose?! 1 I didn't know how the table would reassemble ( no mechanic) and 2 limited funds.....I can make due trust me. Besides I still need to work on my stroke and the repeated shot making.......You guessed it, I'll be replacing it soon right side up! n the mean time ,

HEY THEY WANT ME!!!! Ha ha I'm like a kid in the candy store! Can't wait for tuesday night, although the captain of our team has been described as a physcopath, I ain't scared....

Nice. There are definitely people out there that just want the table out of their house.

I got a 3c table for $500, same deal. Guy bought a house and it conveyed from prior owner. Guy I bought it from asked me to explain wtf the table was for, with no pocket and all.

I have a double butterfly Saunier/Wilhem cue that is way older than your table! It has a VERY old curly maple Brunswick shaft (pin in shaft).

You can see it in the Cue Gallery on my sight...

Looks like a great table Rocket. Altho the one short rail looks like a Chihuahua did an ass drag on it.

ya can also make out a huge stain near the cue area....that didn't come out in the wash....but the table plays fine and is quite good enough for the practice I need.:o

ok I downloaded it , lemmee see what I can do....I'll take down the photos in the mean time.
