I honestly tried LEAGUE once, it was so disorginized, the venue we finally played in was horrible, after moving venues twice in one night, (noisey, dirty, and too many drunks) Plus the league operator treated her league like some after thought. I said NEVER AGAIN, and I have kept my promise to myself.

There is 2 simple fixes for this.
1. Don't take part.
2. Create your own league and do it your way.
A more difficult fix would be to convince the league that your way is the way it should be done. Good luck there.
And of course there is always your present choice of action, make a post and complain about it to those who are probably not really in a position to help you.
Well, then don't do it. Geez not really a hard decision to make. The real question is why you would even do something you hate?
League play is not for everyone. This is one nice thing about the pool is that there is enough variety to appeal to alot of people.
League play is really a mixture of playing pool and getting out to meet people and have fun on a regular basis.
After watching people having fun, laughing, socializing during league play, I've come to believe there is need for them to help grow pool and provide income to pool rooms.
They are just not my thing and as such don't do them, but this is all my personal preference and has nothing to do with the nature of leagues.
What I hate is the narrow view that exists in the pool playing world. By narrow view I'm referring to the lack of support for anything other than 9 ball, 10 ball or 1 pocket.
