I have it! The live Mosconi cup stream.

Crap! I just got busted looking for tires on flea-bay. If I get caught watching pool, I might have to turn pro again!

Im on a mac but this is what I did...

Launched QuickTime > File > Open URL

Paste mms://streamwebtown.com/mysports3 and you should be good to go.

SVB scratches on break. Europe runs out with a super duper tough shot on the 7 by Feijen. now 4-3 Europe

Team Europe breaks and runs out to win the second point of the mosconi cup. Final score is 5-3 with Team Europe winning the last 4 games in strong fashion.

Mika v JJ up next...

They keep talking about making sure balls travel past the headstring on the break--does anyone know what constitutes a legal break here?

On completion of the break shot, 3 balls must pass the headstring (not including cue ball).

Pocketed balls count, therefore if a breaking player makes one ball on the break, only two would then be required to pass the headstring.

JJ vs Mika is off and running...

JJ got the first break and was running out and then had what looked like a skid on the 5 ball. Either that or he just dogged it. Mika ran out after that.

1-0 Mika racing to 5

Mika breaking....

They are using a shot clock and as it winds down you can hear the clock beeping loudly. Interesting, I think I really like this. It makes the games move at a definite pace, there will be no time to pick lint in these games. Archer might be in trouble a bit.

Mika just won game 2 and leads 2-0.

breaking strategy

why are some guys doing "zip zag" breaks off the side of the 1 ball vs trying to squat the cue? Whitey has been cut loose a few times and it's hurt.

Jim Wyche is very excitable, thats for sure.

Mika just won another game. 3-0 now against Jones.

Mika now leading 4-0. Mika is playing with confidence and is looking very tough to beat. He always has been a player that plays his best pool as a front runner so JJ's chances arent looking so good right now.

That safety in rack 4 that Mika played....unreal. The cue ball was pretty much frozen between the 6-ball and the short rail. JJ had to push into the cushion and swerve down table in attempt to hit the 1-ball, which he failed to do successfully.
