Burn all jump cues

I got my Predator Air Jump Cue today and what a diff it makes. I had bought three other cheaper ones in the past and could only jump average at best with one of them. The Air Jumper I took out to the table and from the first jump I was jumping full balls that were close, jumping and making balls, and playing a little position too.

I think each person might find that one size jump-cue doesn't fit all. I think you have to find the right one for you. Now I know why everyone has a jumper in their case. Johnnyt

Well, if a jump cue turns a C player into an A, you should be on tour real soon :D

Although I am a little surprised to see someone that just a couple weeks ago was complaining about jump cues is now posting about having more than one.

I never said I didn't own one. I said I think they shouldn't be allowed...and still do. Johnnyt

Let me just say Johnny that I am of the same opinion as you (and Earl). I don't think jump cues should be allowed either. That being said, I own (and use) three of them myself. Now, if I'm about to go head to head with an opponent, I will ask him/her beforehand if they have a jump cue. If they don't then I will leave mine in the case and kick at any ball I have to, same as they do. I feel this is the only way I can justify not believing in the use of a jump cue as opposed to actually using one in a game. If they have one and plan to use it, then all's fair as far as I'm concerned.

My feelings exactly...and I would/will do the same thing. Thank you for the reply. Johnnyt

What kind of crap is this? if they don't have one you won't use yours. that's crazy talk. you bought it you should use it when you feel the need to. if they don't like it they should have bought their own

I'm getting a little sick of you. Johnnyt

Why would you buy one if you don't allow jumpcues to be used on your table?

Although it would not bother me to see them go. If you paid for one, use it, they probably would if they had it. And if they don't have one, it is like them taking a knife to a gun fight.

Because believe it or not I'm going out in the cruel world to see if I am really full of $hit. So I feel I need that edge too too. Johnnyt

Knife to a gun fight. I like that. Ask someone that can really throw a knife what they think about that saying. I know there are a few on here that are very good at it...maybe they will chime in. I'm in no way good at it but I can put a throwing knife in someone at 10' every time. Johnnyt
