I just Broke my Preadator BK2 shaft

maybe predator will hook you up since you have video proof you didnt really do anything wrong?
 
Maybe its just the fact I knew beforehand it was gonna break, but it looked staged to me. You look at the joint and turn the cue just before you break , and then look at the joint the same way immediately afterwards. Interesting to see a cue shatter though, and good camera work.

It looks to me like he looks at his feet when he set up..and the stick is wobbling because his stroke is woobling..

looks totally real to me man..Good luck with Predator.

No way that was staged. I bet Predator will replace the cue.
 
Now keep in mind that I just bought this shaft about 4 days ago .

Oh it was not staged that's for sure I almost pissed myself because I've never had that happen .

And Yes I have a very wobby stroke just like most of the players from the Philippines . It doesn't hurt my game tho .

i watched the video more than 5 times and i saw the shaft wobble after he chalked it and during the stroke.Maybe it just my eyes are bad.But anyway i hope predator will replace the shaft for you.

Looking at the way it broke, that looks more to me like it was caused by a manufacturing defect. Maybe one of the cue builders could shed more light on what would cause it to break like that if it's not a defect in the assembly....

It is a defective shaft. It looks like there was a gap at the thicker section that allowed the glue to dry without making a bond, the lower portion did bond. Either the pin was slightly longer than the depth or when you twisted the cue together the part failed. My eyes aren't good enough to tell if it broke in tension (pulled apart) or if it sheared as a result of twisting.

But the l'm rolling under the chair:D The damn thing almost ended up in your head and you are absolutely calmly looking at the joint:thumbup:
