***I Just Got Off The Phone With Stevie Wonder!!!***

He said he's on tour and he'll be in NewOrleans the first weekend of September ..He wanted to know if I would show him some gamble while he was down here, but he is soooooooo hard to match-up with!!!!!:( :eek:

Stevie wanted to play 7 ahead ..Meanwhile,I suggested we play a race to 11 .Stevie gets a liitle ticked off , and says "The only way I'll play you walt, is an ahead set..It's bad enough you're getting the six ball !!!! ..you should play me anyway I like!!!...besides,I'm blind remember!!!.."
I told him I'd think about it ..and he just laughed and said I had no gamble ..Stevie said he should have me arrested for impersonating a pool player ..I told him I don't care what he thinks of me,I'm just being cautious....

So, we sort of left it up in the air ..Ill keep you all posted if the game between Stevie Wonder and I ever happens ..:p :p :p

Btw, am I a nit ?

p.s. Wonder if the Saints will ever make it to the Super Bowl after 40+ years of futility?

That is, before the team leaves for another city. :)

Sounds like that would be a very interesting matchup .... I wish I could be there. I guess that makes at least 2 of us who won't be able to see it.
 
Believe it or not, there is a pool player in Pennsylvania named Stevie Wonder. I saw him compete at a Blaze Tour event at Fusco's pool room.

There is also a Mike Sigel in Maryland that is not THE Mike Sigel of the BCA Hall of Fame.

Are you referring to Stevie Dobrowolski (goes by the moniker "Stevie Wonder")? There is a great Accu-Stats tape of him playing one pocket with Buddy Hall (Buddy does a player review).


Stevie is a VERY strong one pocket player (and plays quickly as well). I suspect that Walt will need serious weight if he matches up with this "Stevie Wonder."

Don't back down, Walt. Make the best game you can! I've seen guys like Stevie all the time and they always have to have the stone-cold nuts. Don't let him off!!!

That is him. I remember Keith and I were at Fusco's pool room, near Philadelphia, at the Blaze tournament. We were waiting for Keith's next match, and Jose the TD yelled out, "Next will be Keith McCready and Stevie Wonder." A few of us laughed ourselves silly, not knowing who "Stevie Wonder" was. :D

For a man who is so full of crap himself you sure can't take a joke. Negative rep for this old gag?

I have been watching the Haints find a way to lose for more years than you have been born according to your claims. I remember when there was dancing in the streets when they just beat the points spread which was huge. I also remember Benson raising ticket prices after losing seasons over and over and blackmailing the state for more concessions. I don't support teams that are managed to make money instead of win. The Haints routinely were one of the sorriest teams in the NFL and one of the most profitable at the same time. Something wrong with that. (for those not familiar with Benson and the team, this was long before salary caps)

You said the Saints are going to the Superbowl this year. All I want to know, are you going to be the one buying them the tickets? Get them some good seats so they might learn something!

I could see your matchup with him, and Stevie being led by his handlers to the pool table. Then suddenly the guy shoots the lights out. The next thing ya know, you're in trouble. So there ya have it, the guy's been laying down for 55 years just waiting to get to your cash, Walt. Fortunately you saw right though his hustle.

I'm glad I found out about this because I would've fell for it ... line, hook and sinker.
