Well a few months ago I got a cue from Dave Albrecht who post here as nbll01 and his website is www.albrechtcustomcues.com ,it was a nice wrapless player with tulipwood and ebony as it is my favorite combo.I saw this cue right after mine was done and wanted it,as fate may have it another player and friend of mine got it but said the hit was too stiff for him and talks went from there,so we ended up swapping as he liked the hit of mine better. The cue was only test hit and the shafts are very nice, birdseye and maple, alittle on the thing side from what I am used to as they are 12mm or so.I got it last night and I was straight into action with no warmup at a tourney last night and took 4th place out of 30 with it,so its already paying for itself.Enjoy the pics.

Awesome tulipwood

Great looking cue you have there, although I think the eyes on that birdseye shaft would drive me batty. I too am a fan of Tulipwood. Glad to hear it not only looks good but plays good too. Happy shooting.

To be honest it does not bother me,I just look at the object ball and cue ball, not saying it has not caught my eye but then I just focus even more on where I am hitting.

That is one beautiful looking cue!! I think Tulipwood is gorgeous wood!

I have one of His cues with the birdseye shaft aswell and I dont even notice it when I play. I still cant understand the prices some of his cues sell for though, the best value in cues for sure.

Great cue! If you decide you want to sell it....just let me know! Congrats on a beautiful cue!

I love the birdseye shafts,I wont play with the other shaft at all,the hit difference is noticeable to me,it seems to hit stiffer.

I didnt mean the hit was the same as a maple shaft, but what I meant was the birdseye didnt distract me. It is a nice stiff hit, but I dont have one of his regular shafts to compare it to.
