I need help!!! The cue I refunded cash for is being listed on Ebay!

Hi I really need help. I sold a Southwest to Marc Vidal ( AZB nick marc) but he was unhappy with the deal. Therefore I refunded the money to him and he even promised to help me to send the cue to Laurie Franklin for refinishing. To my horror, the exact same cue is being listed on Ebay:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Southwest-P...251?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1e8b39a343

This cue is rightfully mine but just because I am located in Singapore, I cannot do anything about it.

Someone please help, especially someone who knows marc please get to the bottom of this. He is a gold member and I doubt he will risk his reputation just to scam me out of one southwest cue.

This is a pure nightmare.

I think the ebay seller is a scammer - they took the photos from a previous sale..

One time I sold an expensive, one of a kind art cue with a letter of authenticity. A few months later I get a call from the buyer insisting another one is for sale just like it. One quick look and I realized they took my photos and were trying to scam. He also freaked out and it was hard to calm him down.

Gotta love ebay - after all these years their screening process still SUCKS.

I don't "know" Marc but I've played him in a few tourney's and he seems to be a great standup guy. I really really doubt he's selling your cue. Can't help you but wanted to at least give you a little piece of mind.

I had a guy copy a photo of one of my players here, off AZ, and had it listed for sale in the classified section!!! I called him out and said that cue isn't for sale unless you broke into my safe and stole it...

He said his cue looks just like mine. Really? Then post your own pic's hoss!

I'm considering adding a watermark to anything I post on the web. I'll flag the auction now...

Mark is a great guy, pro player, he wouldn't do anyone wrong, I have direct contact with him if needed. I just sent him the ebay link and asked that he contact you and ebay.Rod.

pretty sure Marc isn't in alabama..and you really did him a disservice here. you should have contacted him first

I think you should contact Marc directly. I have done a deal with him and he was great.

the ebay listing is likely a scam.

Marc would never be involved in anything like this, very nice guy, and a very good poolplayer.
Plus Marc is married to Samm Diep, who is one of the nicest most honest girls on the planet.

I just talked to Marc, the cue is at Laurie's in Vegas. He doesn't even have an ebay account. I hope someone don't pay a couple grand for some pics on ebay, lol.

I never used to watermark my pics.Recently i found that many of images were on facebook pages of unknown people they were even used for commercial purposes for selling stuff.
Now i do not post a single pic without watermark.Been using this software called Mass Watermark for a while. It allows me to add watermark and resize pics in Bulk with a few mouse clicks.
