I need pics of pool champions (men)

Okay, first off, I am not gay or chauvinistic. The deal is, I printed out some pictures from the "the hottest girl in pool!!!!" thread and bravely asked my wife if I could frame them and hang them in my home pool room. She had no problem with it (although she did raise an eyebrow at the pic of the Playboy bunny holding a cue stick, but it's a "go" too!!!). Then, I got to feeling a little guilty and maybe a tad sexist, so I decided I'd get a few pics of some of the better men pros in their shooting stances and sprinkle them in there with the babe pics. Does anyone know where to find some good printable pics of maybe Mika, Niels, Shane, Johnny, Corey, Rodney, Ralf, etc.??? Thanks in advance for any help I get.

BTW, I did a search and found a thread from 2006 titled "Hottest Male Pro Poolplayer.....EVER?". The best picture on that thread was one where someone took a picture of Karen Corr and penciled in a beard and mustache :D. I almost spewed Pepsi out of my nose when I saw it!!! Other than that, there wasn't really much on the thread, at least there wasn't any decent pics of them in a shooting position.

Need Pics of Men

First of all, what does your putting up pictures of a Playboy bunny say about your wife? Either you feel she is a dog and she knows and accepts it or she likes the 1/2 naked women herself.:confused: Think you should look for 1/2 naked Playgirl men to be fair, none of the male pro's are worth looking at. I would be very offended if my husband even wanted to post pictures like that in our pool room for all our friends and family members to see. :( But he respects me and our marriage too much for that. Just my opinion.

I see no reason to criticize the guy. He had the courtesy to ask his wife before hand, and clearly she had no problem with his request. Perhaps his wife is just confident in their marriage, and doesn't feel threatened by a few pictures of other women.

In any case, I've also searched for some high res photos myself, and with very poor results. The only high-res one I found was of Strickland, and it's not even that great of a picture. :(

AKATrigger may have a few good ones. Melinda's window I think it is called, try searching that and make sure she is ok with it. Also Flicker has some by Ashi who gets his pics in inside pool etc. Of course I think if you contact Ricks on here is has ALOT of great pics of I would bet every player you could think of. He would be happy to sell youa few. good luck oh and Nathan OUCH

not all of the results are of pros playing pool, but I looked at a couple of the threads and there were links to the eurotour website with pics of pros like Ralf Souquet. There was also a thread with pics of Willie Mosconi playing.

You think STRICKLAND is equal to or even close to putting up a Playboy Bunny???? Not according to my eyes. Maybe I was a little harsh, his pool table is probably in a basement or game room where their friends and family don't go. Personally, I have only seen those types of photos in dive bars and pool halls.

Umm... maybe I misread (well, no I didn't), but he didn't compare Strickland to a playboy bunny. All he did was provide a picture of a professional player shooting pool like the OP asked.

I guess I am just confused as to why a happily married man would need or want to post pictures of women (one at least that is not a pro pool player) in a room that his wife uses too. Sure she said yes, but shouldn't he be putting pictures of her and them up in stead of a Playboy Bunny. And if she would have said no, she already knows he would prefer looking at those pictures to looking at her.
 
No big deal in my mind. My table's in my garage and I have a pic of a half-naked woman on my wall (her name's Goldie :wub: )... and my wonderful sweetheart of a woman could care less. She is confident in her own sexuality.... and I'm not saying that you are... just that she is.

I am confident and your pool table is in the garage, but if you feel the need to look at other woman, then it seems that your 'wonderful sweetheart' just doesn't have what you like to look at or you could get pictures of her and put them up. My husband is a very sexy man and hanging pictures of other men would just be a waste of space for me. I try to keep myself looking good and so far he hasn't needed pictures of other women. Looking when you are out and about is one thing, but having to have them hanging in your pool room:scratchhead:

Maybe he's the one insecure in his own sexuality.

By this logic, if he were to hang up pictures of top male Pros, should his pool playing friends now feel disrespected and inadequate, simply because their pictures are not on the wall as well?

(Im completely joking, so please dont take offense) :p

On a more serious note, I can definitely see where you're coming from. I'd actually agree with you 100% had his wife not approved of it in the first place. But since she did, I see little reason to debate this.

Now if we could just find some nice high-res printable pictures, we'd all be happy. :)

I am assuming you are a male. I am just looking at it from a womans point. Like I said before, if he asked and she said no, she already knows he would rather look at them then her. Just seems a little disrepectful to me. Some men rule the roost and woman just say yes to avoid conflict. Can you imagine if they have kids or grandkids coming over and seeing them?:eek:

I guess I'd better try to clear the air here on the issue of the Playboy Bunny picture. It is NOT a typical shot that one would normally call "soft porn". Rather, the girl is dressed in a skirt and a tank-top while holding a pool cue.. It is not a picture I would have a problem with my family seeing. All the pictures I have of the ladies are of professional players clad in normal womens clothing. They are classy photographs of pretty poolplaying women. My wife has no insecurities. She and I have a wonderful marriage. I am putting up pictures of both men and women. I haven't even decided if I am going to even use the "bunny" pic or not so there was no reason to attack me or my wife and our marriage. If I were new to this site, I'd be a little more careful about stepping on peoples toes. If you actually KNEW my wife and I, you'd see where we are in our feelings toward one another and you would have a better understanding of our marriage. Have a good day mama!!!

Please accept my appologies maniac!!! My husband has been on this site for years, so I am not that new to it. I am happy you and your wife have such a WONDERFUL marriage. Boy, you are quite a hostil one, giving me 4 red marks. mmmm, make one wonder where the bitterness is coming from. I was just trying to give a woman point of vue!!!!!!!!! It seems as though you have changed your original HOTTIES and Playboy bunny to classy pro pool players. So does that mean you have pics of Karen Corr, Julie Kelly, Kelly fisher, etc or only the ones you consider HOTTIES?

His "bitterness" and "hostil[ity]" comes from your posts. Also, if his wife said that she was okay with the pictures, then that's all that matters and there was no need to give your "woman['s] point of vue" of his relationship with his wife. The fact is that there was no reason to post what you did.
