I need your prayers!

Stay strong...

Sorry to hear the news. If it does turn out to be malignant, just look at what Lance Armstrong was able to do. Never give up!!!!!

Matt...... I found a mass on my testicle two years ago. I went to the doctor and it was testicle cancer. I had one surgery. NO KEMO. I was only off work one week. I know work is probably the last thing on your mind but the fact that I was back at work a week later shows how easy the recovery time was. I feel exactly the same as I ever did before. Having only one testicle maybe somewhat embarrissing but it is better than the alternative. In closing Matt you have my prayers for you and yours. The best of luck to you.

Hi AZ family,

Well - I went to the ER today and a mass was found on my right testicle. The doctor performed a sonogram and it does appear to be a tumor. They are removing the testicle tomorrow and sending it off to pathology for testing. They'll know in 4-5 days whether or not it is cancerous, and of course they did some blood work and will know tomorrow how that looks for cancer.

I'm not looking foward to having my testicle removed, but if it gets cancer out of me --- do what you gotta do. Needless to say though, I'm scared sh*tless (or in this case n*tless - have to keep my sense of humor, if I don't laugh I'll cry). Please say a prayer for me if you find an extra second, because I believe with all my heart that they will help.

Thanks,
Matt

Hoping for the best, Matt.

I will send a prayer up for you and I wish you the best.

I also plan on having an Almond Joy on your behalf............just trying to help you keep your sense of humor. Good luck to you.

Good luck with your nut matt. I pray for ya bud. It's ok ya jerked it A lot that did not cause it. ;) Good thing ya got it checked out.

I am sorry for your indevors. I will gladly pray for you and your family. The procedure itself is very low risk. No reason to be scard of that. The bigger issue is the thought of disinfiquerment, and the anatomy of the body part itself. There are many supports groups on this issue if needed, just contact the social worker of the facility where the operation is to be performed. Again, Good Luck, and I wisy you the very best with a speedy recovery.

Matt, sorry to hear the news and may God bless you through this. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Matt, I am so sorry to hear this news. The good news is that if it is cancer, it is one of the most treatable if found early.

Testicular cancer is one of the most curable forms of the disease. Studies show that the cure rate exceeds 90% in all stages combined. The 5-year survival rate for stage 1 and stage 11 testicle cancer is more than 95%. The 5-year survival rate for stage 111 disease, in which cancer has spread beyond local lymph nodes, is 75%.

Go here for a great site with information.

It is interesting to note that "Get a Grip!" Testicular Cancer Awareness Week Campaign was April 1-7.

Take care and many prayers are going out your way. Be strong. :)

There you go! Try not to worry, I'm sure you will be fine. I will include you in my prayers.

Good luck and stay strong!

Matt

Today would have been my dads 80th birthday if cancer had not taken him away from us several years ago.
As I pray for him, I will definitely include you in my prayers.

Be well my friend and looking forward to when we can crack another rack again,
Myron

Matt

Prayer on the way but a positive atittude knocks the hell out of most illness; I have had 6 cancer operations and still ok; no they were not all balls. Don't waste time sweating the match as it isn't up to you; big boy's got this one. Do what the Dr. says and keep laughing; you have more balls then people with 2 of them.

God bless you

I will say a prayer for you also. After reading all of these notes, it sounds like things should be fine.

I had two friends diagnosed with testicular cancer in their mid/late 20's. That was almost 25 years ago now and they are two of the healthiest guys I know. Stay positive.

A prayer is yours

A prayer is on the way, God is a personal friend of mine
