I sold three cues, and bought this.....

I'll throw my 2 cents in

No Cue's were sacrificed for this toy.

Kevin, trust me, its like having two girl friends, you can only ride one at a time. Unless you're really lucky.
I have a 76 King of the Road that I bought one year old when I was 19.
I made some changes and restored it to a stock 76 to as near show room condition as I could. I bought an 05 Soft Tail a few years ago.

Moral of the story. It resides under a tarp in the garage and I feel the same as when someone frees up some of their collector cues. Hate to sell, but someone may as well enjoy them rather than sit in a case. Have to make a decision this spring. All I know is that if she goes, there will be a couple of tears in my eyes when I see her ride off. Good memories, her and I.

You can only play with one cue at a time too, but collecting cues is different than vehicles, unless you have Jay Leno's money.

That said, I have a couple of Dale Perrys that are sitting in a case if anyone wants to trade for one of those Mustangs you guys have.

OK, I'm going to duck now.

Nice car Tommy, I don't know where you live but convertibles don't fare well up in the Great White North. One needs 4X4s and snowmobiles here.

To the contrary...a greenie for the Dale Perry comment!

(edit) FYI, The new 5.0 Mustangs are thye schnitz! Seriously, with the right options, normally aspirated ones compare performance wise with the BMW M3...and the blown ones have absolutely scary power.

I was just teasin anyway. I have a couple of nice DPs. I wouldn't have bought them if I didn't like them.

Gotta love strange economics. Some rings are worth a house. Come cues, a car. A lake view in Maine, $60K; In Austin, $4M.

This thread is just completely wrong. Men selling Stangs. "Men" buying Miata's. The world has gone to hell.

an actual movie car !

Isn't that the VERY SAME CAR used in the movie 'MacGruber'?
Does yours have the pull-out Blaupunkt ??

get used to it , you're gonna hear that one A LOT . . . . .

The test drive.... Actually, I was told this was Chad McQueen driving the car for Ford publicity shots...
