Apparently I took 1755 photos at Derby City. Don't worry, I'm not going to show you all of them :)

But I put together a slide show with about 35 that I thought stood out for one reason or other.

The slide show is here:

If you want to look through more of what I uploaded, you can go to onepocket.smugmug.com and click through about 600 more, organized into about a half dozen galleries. Adding captions would be next. If you want to help, you can help out by clicking on the "Add Comment" button, because no way do I know who all of these players are...

Great Pictures, almost made me feel like I was there !!

Thanks for posting :grin-square:

Great pics. But you have one picture in there captioned george breedlove, but its actually sparky,.

Thank God for digital!

Steve you are an artist. I don't know how you got these shots but there is not one that unworthy of being called art. Thank you for sharing .

I do not know if you are a Photograher by profession, but you picture are the quality of those i see in Time, and New Week. GREAT JOB.

Great shots, Steve!

I just watched your slide show and I'm very impressed with the images you captured. Your use of existing light, the artistic composition of your shots, and the capturing of critical moments make this a really sweet collection of pool photos. Yes, I know you took hundreds of photos in order to produce this small collection of great images, but that's to be expected.

Steve, people like you and photos like these are the reason I no longer even take a camera with me when I attend a pool tournament. I am sure you know that I mean this as a sincere compliment.

Thank you for sharing all that and taking the time to arrange and insert captions.

This is just what I was thinking when I saw your slide show........very beautiful and quality pictures ..... they look like instant classics and great artistic ability........ on one picture of Tim Heath, I think I saw the legendary "Pretty Boy Floyd" Jim Mataya in the background .... and it was good to see Cole Dickson is still active......Thanks a million..............

I saw that one and I was for sure that it would be titled Pretty Boy Floyd (no disrespect meant to Mr. Heath)
