I'm looking for something in the quality range of an 80-90's Joss, Schon, Richard Black, Predator, etc. I'll entertain anything especially if it is hand built.

I have a McDermott D-12 that was built in the late 80's. I would consider trading this if it makes sense.

Thanks for helping me find my next cue.

Mark

Personally, I think you're a little bit of a nut for getting rid of a D-12. I always thought that it was a very pretty cue, on of their best. You could have someone like KJ put a 314 on the end of it with matching ringwork and you'd really have something. They play a little soft due to the enormous amount of finish on them, but if you have the finish taken down to a reasonable level and done over, they really play quite well. I have a D-20 that was built after the D era ended and with a more reasonable finish program, it plays as well as any cue I've owned. That said, I'm getting my D-16 back from KJ tomorrow and I can't wait! Yes, its probably cheaper to pick up a nice $400 cue, but I can abandon any cue that has a chance of getting back to its former self. I suppose that means that I'm the dang nut! Oh well. Best of luck no matter where you wind up. Certainly a bunch of great cues offered to you here.

Mark,
I have a few cues $400 or under. One that I would sell for $375 shipped is a slightly used McDermott M7QR6. I have an almost new Universal #2 of 10 Limited Edition with Smart Shaft, beautiful cue, suggested Retail over $700, shipped for $400. I have one of the best McDermott players, the EK-3, leather wrap, Chess designs, shipped for $350. I have a couple Ek-1 McD, one with new Gracio tan leather wrap shipped for $225, one Linen shipped for $150. I have an old Palmer that was reconditioned by Toeboy a few years ago. Two shafts. Leather wrap. This cue plays great and has a good feel. Shipped for $400. I have some old Hueblers under $400. One new unplayed Huebler AS-H6 for $525 shipped. I have an unknown custom with two shafts I picked up on ebay. It has an "H" on the buttcap. Will sell for $250 shipped. More I cannot think of but will add later if you do not find one. Bob H

Post a pic of that last one...my first name starts with an "H", I might be interested in it myself. ;) Actually, I'm trying to get my son interested in playing, so it'd be for him if that ever happens...

Give Paul Sumrall (S&S Cues) a call at 806-778-1957 or his PM is sonofthunder and get one made to your specs. He'll set you up with a nice player for the money.
