What is the brand of layered tip that has a diamond(one that looks like a traditional stone from a ring)with a 6 in it on the back?

Those are tips I have imported from South Korea and to my knowledge no one except me sells them in the USA except for a couple of cue makers who I sold a few box's too. I also sent some members of this forum some samples where did you get the tip you are asking about?

I reread your post, the tip I have are not the same as the ones your selling, you said your's have a diamond on one side and 6 on the other side. Mine have a diamond with a six inside the diamond, the six on my tips stands for the number of layers the tip has.

Here is a photo of mine, could you post a photo of the tips you have?

Thanks for your time.

I bought them at WalMart.

A quick look at the Walmart website and they sell a load of pool stuff. Cues up to $500.00. It should not be a surprise they sell cue tips and there is nothing demeaning about having Walmart stocking your stuff.. Heck, every billiard manufacture should be trying to get them to carry their stuff. One deal with a retailer like that and they could be set. Just the initial order for their stores can be more stock then most manufactures may sell in years of selling direct.

But they are not the same! The "6" is different.

Knockoff? Just speculating.

Who knocks off a product no one ever heard of?

My guess is that Walmart is buying and importing products from South Korea now. These tips are made in a small factor in Korea, I have been bring them into the USA for around 5 years now. I first visited the company on a trip to Korea around 2005. The price is what has me stumped, 4 for $20 is kinda expensive, but hey they are a good tip.

Take care
