Its 445am cant sleep, in a post this idea came to me, perhaps its been thought of, if it has sorry. If not I think its great:

I think someday TAR should have a "Big Nasty" round robin PPV event in his honor, with the profits to benefit his family. What do you think of that?? Its a great way to honor a man we all loved and was part of the pool family, and let pool serve his family. I bet you would get a record number of buys and collect a pile, take out production costs and use the rest for Chad's family. A annual event. It can change places like Swanee has over the years or formats. Make it fun for the people and cause its for Chad, I expect the numbers to be great. The right players wouldnt want show up $$, SVB would do it im sure cause of their relationship. I hope you do this. And can come up with a 4-6 player event where the players do it mainly for Chad. There are some stand up guys who would, possibly you may have to cover their expenses, perhaps.

you can sort out the details, i just had the idea.

lets do a poll,

best

I am working on a US vs World parters game match in Chad's name for later this year. He always wanted to do partners game matches and it never happened for one reason or another. We'll make it happen now for his daughter and hopefully build it into something people will want to enjoy each year.

One guy on each side is confirmed now with the decision on partners to be made soon then its just a matter of finding a time when all four guys can be in the same place. It will be a three day all around format as well. Soon as everything is in stone I'll put it out. I'm guessing its going to be October/early November time frame.

Sweet! Team play is my personal fave. It's the only time you see pool players fired up more than just the match winning shot.

What about a Pro-Am, a pro player and an A player on each team scotch doubles. Everyone miked up so you could hear the coaching would be great.

Or how about in addition to this, and part of a fundraiser as a side - have a scotch doubles match with two pros and two amateurs. Except have the amateurs BID to play with a pro - could raise some money.

The reason I say a scotch doubles as part of the format, is that this would open it up to some lower skilled players who may have some $$$$ to throw in, but yet the format may make it competitive. This would not be the main attraction, rather a side event for fun and charity! The winner amateur could get some freebies maybe that were donated like a cue or case maybe? Signed jersey from the pro, etc.

Just a thought.......

Get Daz and Melling...or Busty and Orcollo....awwwwww shit. I think I'd like to see SVB with either Johnny or Rodney or Hatch playing partners. Doubles is the nuts to watch.

I would love to see SVB and Behnke play ANYONE scotch doubles 10 ball or 8 ball. Those to play so much the same style it would be amazing to watch.

It would also be cool to watch those two play another, top pro and semi-pro, type of team.

just something off the beaten path.

Either way I will be Buying this!

Best wishes to you guys, and Chad's family either way,

Justin
