Maybe they are afraid of getting their A$$e$ handed to them for comments they have made. Keyboard tuff guys.

For the most part...I am sure that is true. Rep point for just sayin it. My pics have been posted online and on AZBilliards since 2002, never hid from a soul and always invites friends or foes to step and say hello.

I am a 15 year old girl from Tacoma Washington. If anyone ever figured it out all the kids in school would give me a hard time and not sell me dope anymore.

A serious note

The real reason I don't post my full name and exact location on the internet is that some friends of mine have been stalked, physically stalked, by internet squirrels and I have had more than a dozen threats of violence over the years including some death threats. If someone shows up on my doorstep I want to know they went to some serious effort to do it. If they had to work at it to find me and then came to me then that lets me know how serious they are. When a moron in the next town makes threats and he can look me up in the phone book he could show up at my door before he had time to think about it. Bad for both of us.

I believe, "To each his/her own personal decision" to stay anonymous or not.
I think its wrong when some members think everyone should have their real names on their avatars. I think some people probably have some very good reasons to protect their privacy. And frankly, its none of our business why.:)

Milo I like the sound of Tacoma, kinda like Shenandoah. The linguists say the most beautiful sounding words in the English language are "cellar door." Tacoma is better.

Dont matter to me in real life. I have said some real off-color things on the net but always gave them a way to contact/find me. I'm not much for hiding <too damn big/too proud to hide>. Anyways, dozens of CCB'rs and AZ'rs have met me or stayed clear...life is all about choices.

exactly right

Good reasons include exwives, bails bondsman, the man, the parole officer, the 356 people they owe money to, a lot of reasons. Definitely not my case but many anonymous posters are "somebody" and enjoy just relaxing and being nobody on the web sometimes too. That should be their privilege. The anonymous pool pro's on here seem to enjoy the forum more than those who use their own name and it is widely known who they are.

It depends... I don't think I would give up my az-name to other people. I have enough stalkers already :D

The game is still there for you, . . . . at Buffalo's!

Good one Roy!
