Thanks, but no thanks. I don't want a position which requires me 'to show up' on a regular basis. (or wear a uniform)
I just want to sit in the stands on sunny days, eating hot dogs, drinking beer, taking steroids and betting on the games........
Doug
( all in an honorable way, of course ) :)

That's cool. You can sit right next to Carl Pavano. What number you want?

Pavano makes $10,000,000 per year for sitting in the stands and eating hot dogs. I mean, if the owners give you any less, you can def. make a case in arbitration.

if Keith is going to be our closer then I guess you can sit in the stands with JAM.

JAM rooting for The Yankees? Yeah and maybe McCain will get Hillary as his running mate.

Not even close for me 2nd base for the NY Mets or Line 1 center for the NY Rangers.

none of the above

If I was going to do something just for the glory and honor I'd be a piano player in a cat house.

I'd be the third baseman for the New York Yankees, bat lead-off, have 100+ stolen bases per year, play flawless defense and get on base about as often as Lindsey Lohan goes to rehab.

And booed by 50,000 New Yorkers the first time you go 0-4.

Anybody here heard of a center field rookie from the small town of Madras, Oregon? He batted "only" .454 during the world series...#46 for the Sox. If I was Coco Crisp, I'd be nervous. Damn! I can only imagine what Jacoby Ellsbury must feel like..like winning the Reno open or something???? I mean in 2006, he played for the college world series champs Oregon State Beavers...beginning of 2007 season, picked up by the AAA Portland, ME, Seadogs...by the end of the season, on the winning world series team?

The stuff dreams are made of...

HOOT! Truth...one early rock n' roll star started out in just that manner...
Fats Domino.

F-1 for me, then I can take on Ricky Bobby FTW. Plus those races where they run 180mph through roped off street is way cool (that may not be F-1, but open wheel at least), and they sound nicer than NASCAR vvvvrrrrrrrrrwwwww... nothing like a Ferrari reving to 9k.

Music, Music, Music

I used to have my own country/lite rock band. Loved entertaining! Having a family was much more important, though. So, the fame idea was short-lived.
