If you could afford any cue makers cue who's cue would you buy for your everyday cue

Without question...Mike Lambros!

Honestly the best maker in the area now that Scruggs is retired. Black Boar cues are beautiful, but honestly dont lie to yourselves they dont play that well at all.

I would go with PFD Studios. Oh, wait...... I already did! Lol

Seriously though, Paul Drexler offers one of the best values in the industry. He is accessable, easy to deal with, and can do designs that most other cue makers cant or wont.

Sure, there are a lot of great cue makers out there. Most of them do one thing exceptionally well. Some do point work better than most, some do inlay work a little better, and some just seem to be able to make a cue "hit". For my money, it will always be Paul. He does it all well, and he does it without false hype or absurd pricing.

Keith Hanssen no question. playability and artistic quality beyond anything else i've seen!

infact i have my dream cue already. it's this 54pt beauty!!!!!!

I am interested in who's cue people would choose if they could afford any maker.

Thanks

Kevin
I think I love the question but am still confused by it. Par for the course for me.

If I could only choose one? Schuler. I'd think that wouldn't be a surprise since that's been my primary shooting cue for many years.

Now, if I could buy one cue from any maker, then that's a different question.

Freddie <~~~ Ernie

Runde or runde shon r model have played and owned about everything . Gina is there to.

Ernie Martinez, no question. I own 7 of his cues, and he is building me 2 more right now. There are many great cue makers today you really can't go wrong with almost anyone, but Ernie stands out for building a beautiful cue of high precision, they play perfect, and he is one of the nicest people you would ever want to meet. He had some problems in the past but today he is doing awesome and is building the best cues he has ever put out.

Capone, have 2 of them. Sold everything else I ever bought over the years from Scruggs, Gilbert etc. My capones are my keepers

50 yrs playing pool. Owned a room and hit balls with maybe a zillion custom cues that the players were anxious for me to try as they bought them, traded them and showed them off.

LMAO, I like my old Meucci better than any of em to play with.

bushka & gus (rip to both)
searing, barry, mobley & tibbits (and that's a really narrowed down list)
