If you could have any Cue in the World? What would your dream Cue be?

Yeah, Dean collected all of them back because every time someone listed a Jackpot for sale, they got roasted.
I got two.

Fine cues, I must say.

Jackpots are “playing” cues.

You buy cues to “flip”.

Everybody who hits with mine are impressed.

I won’t mention any cue maker names, but I have had people offer to trade their custom cues for my Jackpot after they compared the play of theirs and mine. A couple of the makers are members of AZB.

You had to send your Jackpot cue to a real cuemaker to fix how it played.

Most cues play great, but some need a little extra help and get recalled from the market

Get your story straight before I make you out to be a liar.

I have never sent my cues ANYWHERE.

My cues have NEVER been FIXED.

Gotta say a monocolor (shaft too) Schmelke, 3/8 10 with black collar plus thin silver rings like all proper $100 cues and Cuetec's ultra slim taper. Also at least one in each color.

So your post talking about a prominent cuemaker coring it and rebuilding it was a lie?

Learn to read and follow the story.

Don’t make shit up!

My cues have never been rebuilt.

See comments by Larry Vigus below:

Handle wood was cored before the cue was assembled.

Dean wanted some unique handle wood for the second batch of cues. Some people sent him some camphor and redwood. Both are to light and unstable to use without coring. I was coring some things for me and Dean asked if I could core the wood for him.

The cue i loved most was my first cue. A old canadian dufferin. Ebony maple fullsplice, with the white wedge at the bottom. the glider joint. Dufferin called it the Excalibur. I still have it but as a stupid kid i left the butt in car in the summer when i worked 12h shifts and it warped. Been looking for same butt (canadian version) for years. Shafts are still good.

Today i have some great customs. Lambros, sugartree, tasc. But i still miss playing with that dufferin.

A Balabushka. I love the modern game. But I’m most interested in the late-straight pool era of pool. 60s to 80s. Miz, Rempe, etc. I’d love to put up a big run with a Bushka.

One day.

I’ve had a lot of cues, but I think my dream cue is Mr. Huebler’s US Open cue. It’s the one I don’t think I could sell as long as I’m able to shoot pool.

Coco, you’re really working the spell check this morning, any smoke coming from your computer/phone?

I use to spell so so in high school, got passing grade.

If you have no life but crying about spelling, you need hobby like volunteering in VA hospital, or clinic.
Like many, I already own it. Jerry Rauenzahn Double Full Splice, Ebony into Brazilian Rosewood into Bubinga with Green, Orange and Natural Veneers and Butterflyes. Two pool shafts, one snooker shaft and an 8" Brazilian Rosewood extension. Made exactly to my specs by a master craftsman and is the best hitting cue I've ever played with.

Spill the beans, it will drive prices up, maybe Dean will do a new run,👍

Plain Jane Searing. I have hit a few balls with a couple of Dennis’ cues and would like to have had the experience of owning one to play with.

William Gentry. I was on his list to have a cue made. My intent was to play with the cue.

Mike Webb. I have never played with his cues. But he is such a wealth of cue knowledge that I would like to have spent real time with one of his weapons.

I have owned or still own cues from most other cuemakers that interested me.

I tried a New Old stock BALABUSHKA-
A COLLECTOR HAD JUST BOUGHT
FROM JOE SALAZAR
WAS A SERIOUSLY "STRONG , PLAYING CUE
VERY, VERY LIVELY FIRM, EXCELLENT CUE .
"He only paid 20K for it too

If people search long enough for a good cue, eventually they will hit the Jackpot and realize they don’t need anything fancy.

Agreed, I'm currently banging balls with a $125 Huebler. When I got back into pool a few years ago I thought spending the big bucks was the way to go, figured out real quick that's not the case.

That being said, I don't think the OP was saying it had to be an expensive cue and on that note, the only cue in the world I would like is the Adams my father gave me that was stolen in the 90's.

EDIT: LOL, I just caught the reference :ROFLMAO:

I would have D Searing make a cue with a butt of African Blackwood and shafts made of platinum...the inlays joint and ferrules would be of the finest unicorn horn..This being just a dream I would like a pigskin wrap made from a football the Browns will win the super bowl with. I am sure my creation will "hit a ton" . It will be so magical it won't even need a tip.
