Can you reach your full potential if you allow yourself to be part of the "bar scene" while playing pool? I don't think so. You have to seperate yourself if you want to play top caliber pool. What do you think?

onepocketchump said:Maybe some people need to be sedated to reach their potential. Like any other drug alcohol does different things for different people. I have played lights out with a couple beers in me and also played horribly with about the same amount. I firmly believe that mood + drugs + ability = performance. If any of those factors is changed then the outcome changes. Of course the all time best high is the one you can't buy and that's deadstroke on the natural.

IMO, whether you're part of the bar scene has nothing to do with your ability to reach your full potential. What you do outside the bar scene is what's important, if that's what you're driving at.Splinterhands said:Can you reach your full potential if you allow yourself to be part of the "bar scene" while playing pool?
