for my $2000

no offense is meant by this whatsoever, but if I had $2000 just to blow on pool stuff...I'd buy another Mike Stacey, a fancy one this time as long as it played similarly to my j/b, another DZ jump cue with a phenolic tip on the shaft, and yet another "Swift" case but a 3x6 this time similar to the 2x4 I got from Bama a few months ago...I love that case!! I know this stuff don't come to $2000, but if you could use leftover money to gamble with, I'd probably have like $500-$750, I'd go looking for the best players in my surrounding area and play them...I'd have money muscles that night, so wouldn't be at all reserved in my playing so I'd more than likely win...I play better when I'm not worried about losing!!

I'd get a uses scruggs, instroke premier case, and perhaps a gilbert jump break.

I have an Instroke 3 X 5 Premier case. The shoulder strap is very uncomfortable. So much so that I bought a seat belt shoulder pad to keep it from digging into my shoulder. It does the job but I wish I had bought a Geo instead.

As for myself:

Jack Justis or Instroke Cowboy case

Custom XBreaker (tulipwood or BEM stained orange to look like a sunburst orange guitar)

Capone, AE or Samsara cue (something with a radial pin)

Don't really care about the shaft. I have a new Tiger X shaft that plays pretty well so I would probably get one of those.

Whatever it is it MUST have a Sniper tip. I can pretty much play with any shaft.

josey fancy custom sneaky, josey inlayed jump/break cue and a swift 3x6 case. you would still have a couple hunderd' to gamble with. if you didn't want doe to gamble then a nicely tooled justice, murnak or OnQ case would be the way to go for sure.

Try to buy a Southwest from someone who is broke...

Okay...I usually dont have such good luck...

then...with a bit of luck, perhaps a blue grass, for may be $750 to $800, two shaft and joint protectors and yellow micarta ferrules. Use the $200 to buy a used Swift/Flowers somewhere.

I do not need to buy a break cue, because I will be using a X breaker. So I am all set.
