If you had to choose one cue

If you had to choose 1 cue, and 1 cue only to play with for the rest of your life, what would you pick. I dont have a lot of experience with different makers, just thought it would be an interesting topic.

Gilbert jump/break, with an extra player shaft (it's pretty good even playing with the break shaft, though).

Rick Howard player and a Mace J/B on the side.
I know that's two but hey, they're both Howards.

I would have Tad Kohara make me a nice wrapless players cue. Mebbe a three-point with 3 veneers red/gold/blue (no green plox thxKbai) and a couple shafts. Im good with that.

Or if we can not resurrect the dearly departed and must choose from the living and productive. I would say a Titlist conversion bumperless from Jerry Rauenzahn. Eight Shafts.... just in case.

My 60" Bob Frey, I have a few cues but I always play that one.

Why am I the Colonel? Because I always get the chicken

My lambros got shoved in the bag for my predator road line. it plays lights out...

I have to laugh at this thread, not at the OP, but at the thread.

One of my best buds, Brian Roberts, would call me occasionally and tell me he has found the "perfect" cue. This was going to be the last cue and it was best he had ever played with, etc, etc.

In less than a year, often around 6 months, he would call me and sell me the cue...., because he had found the next "perfect" cue.

I have had most of my "keeper" cues for years, with hundreds of "flipper" cues along the way.

I am playing with the Gus Hoppe cue, and like Brian Roberts, I don't see me ever playing with another cue full time. (Check back in 6 months to a year).

Ken ;)

Yep. It's the Indian not the ar... Whoops, I almost said it. :)

I'd like to have my old Meucci Original back from 1984. It was stolen out of my son's car a long time ago...in 1992.:(

That cue did not hit like a Meucci. It was one of a kind.

my choice

straight grain maple full spliced into straight grain maple for the butt and a dense straight grain maple for the shaft, and it is the player i use today

Any decent J/B with a stiff taper and an Ultra Skin HH... will do anything you want from one pocket to 10 ball...
But I carry 4 cues with me everywhere I go lol

Possibly the funniest post of the year.
