This BS of closing threads and pulling threads is ridiculous.... I just love wasting my time to make posts that end up getting deleted. Go ahead and delete this thread to you pukes!

You and me both. I had made some finger sandwiches (peanutbutter and dill pickle), assorted pastries, and some lemonade. A few friends were coming over and we were going to watch the show. Now you tell me the threads have been pulled?
Crap o'dear, these social embarassments are killing me. :)
 
Deleting threads/posts is a slippery slope. Once you start, how do you stop?

The next guy will say, you deleted that thread/post for "so & so", why not delete one for me too?

Also, once people get tired of seeing their threads disappear because of people that should be BANNED, they will lose interest in the forum & leave.

The solution is to LOCK the offending thread & BAN offenders, not delete the threads.

Amen! Add "Public Forum Management Specialist" to your resume next to "Doctorate of Breaking Science".

Seems to me that since Jerry Forsyth was added to the hall monitoring squad there has been an abundance of thread pulling. People that don't cozy up to his favorites get yanked.
 
Why pull a thread because somebody goes off?

Well the threads pulled are those from "respected artisans" who make billiard products and went off publically. I can see protecting others from unfair assaults, but why pull threads to protect these individuals from themselves when they make themselves look bad? If they make jerks of themselves, so be it right?

Doesn't seem to matter much because another continuation thread just pops up until they have blown off their steam.
 
Well F/K. I put a 12 in the fridge and went to work for a couple of hours and was looking forward to the show. At least beer doesn't go to waste around my house.

Seems to be happening more and more. And then more and more of these threads are started. I for one am glad to see them. Shows what is important to the members. Err, I mean guests.
