Thats amazing. He is a true craftsman.
Did you see how fast he did the carpentry work. I can't get my chisel to make those sounds when I use it.
I watched a UTube vid where the guy made a treadle lathe and incorporated a huge wooden fly wheel.
Did you see the huge lathe chisel that he made the handle for. That was for some beeg turning projects.
I know that Chris mentioned he had an old treadle lathe. Any chance of a pic or two Chris.

Oh, sure, now it will be copied and sold on ebay. Chris, Todd and Bassel better get with the times quick.
I once took my treddle lathe with me to the BCA show and I told Joe Porper I had come up with a lathe so far above anything he or I had ever built that it did not even need electricity. Then I took him and showed him my treddle lathe. I thought the joke was funnier than he did.
Treadle lathes have been around for a while ... Leonardo drew one. Here is the treadle lathe I want :
