my game has come up, people are noticing it, im at a runout level, but i dont always run a rack when it can be ran, my game feels good, and my confidence is high, just my banks suck.......im almost the champion i want to be

Good :)

Keep at it, runout level is not the start, but it can be the start of a much higher level than you believed you'd ever make. It's possible to reach a level where there is no rack that can't be run, and 50% of your breaks result in the opponent never getting to shoot. Keep learning and playing.

Congrats on your improvement. Now get back to work/practice!!. You have proof that your hard work will pay off. Use it as motivation for your further development as a player.

Remember, the better you play, the more fun you have doing it.

when you get a bank think safety first until u get better @ it. let the other guy give you a better shot. remember if you play 9ball you just have to make the 9 .

Sounds like you're doing allright to me. Just spend some time practicing banks.
Line balls up along each long rail, about a diamond or so apart. Start at one end of the table and begin making short banks to the corner. As you move up the table, switch to the side pocket, then continue on to the last corner. This drill comes from one of Grady's cd's and once you can cross-bank all fifteen balls blindfolded while standing on one leg, you win a T-shirt.

P.S. Just kidding about the blindfold, the leg, and the T-shirt.

Precisely:smile:

Take a week and switch your regular straight and cut shot practice with bank and kick practice. Set up the balls as if you were doing straights and cuts, but shoot them as banks and kicks.
