If i make an Offer on something, and offer accepted in timely manner, then i feel you are definitely obligated to buy, unless some VERY extenuating circumstrances.

On another note, i have seen sellers list a cue here with a need to raise some money for some non-pool related thing, but then they go and list in description of cue that they would concider trades?
Why plead poverty and need for $, then accept trades?

Doesn't look good to the average consumer, wheel and deal all you like but at least keep it honest.

Matt, you are absolutely correct....at least that's my feeling anyway. It seems all these f-ing deadbeats are beginning to congregate on AZ now......real shame, too.

Now that's funny.
As my recall I will do full insurance of the cue while shipping and cover the fee but you just wanted $500 declared because of the customs duty it may caused to you. If you really don't want to take my cue because of the customs duty or risk, you should let me know at the first beginning, but you kept asking me to pack the cue with both round and triangle tubes and prepare to ship it with Fedex, etc.... The last email I received from you is that you will paypal couple hours later. After I did everything you want and replied all your questions, even I called the Fedex, guess what? No payment, no reply, no pm, nothing!
So when you point out someone breach your deal without any reply or notice to you, remember what you have done to somebody else.

When I first joined AZ, I didn't follow through on a couple of deals as a buyer. I don't remember exactly why -- it was a couple of years ago -- but I ended backing out of a couple of purchases from two respected AZ members. After the fact, I felt pretty bad about it. Since then, I've experienced about 10 to 15 people renege on a deals with me. At the very least, I think it is really annoying. On the other hand, however, it has the potential to break other deals with other serious buyers.

There is a fine line between working out the niceties of deal, and just plain wasting people's time.

I have the same situation to deal with barrosm as he want to purchase Kamui tips, but after 2 pms to confirm the price and shipment, he disapear.

I had packed the tips and ready to ship. :(

It's very hard to regain credibility after you've lost it. Say what you mean and mean what you say, if your word's no good then neither are you. One of life's simple rules....:o
 
Seems like he always has an excuse. Security breach at the airport. (He's probably the night janitor.) Next he get's ripped off. I wonder how he got the time to accept your money and ship you a bad shaft.

Why not just send him the shaft that you advertised and he purchased? If you can't/won't do that, send him the funds for a new one from the cue builder. No one with any credibility would advertise an item and then, once receiving the funds, ship an inferior item. Seems like a twist on the old "bait and switch".

If anyone would like me to forward the pm barrosm sent me, the one where he says he will have to buy me a new shaft, let me know.

If I Advertised something and show pictures ...I will make sure that what I Advertised is the one i sen to the buyers...I don't like Misleading people on what im selling...I think its just me...just my .02 cents lol :D :D

You have shown yourself to be neither a man of your word nor a man with any integrity.

It is a shame that you would be willing to denigrate yourself for $150 !!


I am fortunate to have had other dealings here on Az and have seen that your type are probably few and far between.
