I'm on NPR a lot, and I gotta tell you it's downright nasty. You can't get involved in the political discussions without being attacked for your beliefs. It's not worth the aggravation.

Discuss politics? Both sides lie and could care less for you and me. They just want your vote each term and then they want you to go away. Now the lobbyist can stay because they buy dinner, send them on trips (vacations), and put money in their off shore accounts. End of discussion. Johnnyt
 
More females will help pool be acceptable to the public. Seems to me that women could be better players than men.

Thats not true for everybody that participates. I believe most would agree that I state my case and discuss it in a firm but friendly manner. There are others that do the same. There is a lot of good info to read. You just have to laugh at the rest of them.
If you believe in something you should be able to articulate it in a thoughtful manner and stand by it. You also must be willing to be proven wrong and admit it gracefully.
Look at as a game of pool. It takes skill and an awareness of the layout. You have to determine when you are going to make a run or make a couple of shots and then safe. Some times you can force your opponent to do exactly what you wish and be left with your next shot.

My better half has a large family. Many siblings. She has die hard conservatives to a compatriot of Hillary. You can imagine the fun I have with that.:D :D

I still say that the Women on AZ should participate if they have an interest in politic. Your perspective is important. Perhaps it would help some individuals to see the forest through the trees.
