Hi All -

Thanks for all the quotes! They are all terrific....and inspiring. It is amazing how strong the power of words and thoughts are. And I feel refreshed when I read the wisdom of others. Sometimes the simplest truths are the ones we overlook most often.

You guys are all great...and each and every one of you has provided me with inspiration and courage.

Gimme details...I have been out of touch with the local tournament scene...so I am obviously clueless about what you are referring to....

That might be the Pechauer tourney at Hot Shots in Cypress west on Ball past Knott Ave. this Saturday and Sunday. $2 or 3K added 9 ball. Good fortune anyways.

Ok, so I'm glad to see I'm not the only crazy one out there that collects quotes. I have a huge collection. So here are some that I think of every once in awhile.

This past spring saw the 50th aniv of Bannister's 4min mile. Oft quoted is McWirter's race result announcement the end of which is lost as no one was able to hear it anyway:
