Week ago I met up with a friend at a bar to play a few rounds of 8 ball.

The place was empty and I got side tracked and when I left, I left my cue on the table kind of tucked under the rail where it was hard to see.
This cue is like my right arm, just me I have owned and own some very nice custom cues.

I didn't know I had even left it there until this morning when a friend of mine was passing through from Salk Lake City stopped in to pick up a cue.

When I opened my cue case 3x5 I noticed my main player and the shaft wasn't in my case.

I have slightly high blood pressure and my heart sank..... And I felt like I had the butterflies.
It wasn't like I don't have more cues but that one was my favorite, and how would I handle it if I seen someone with my cue.
I don't really care to get in people face but over my cue, I don't know if I could of contained my anger.
Worst part is I left the cue there myself so I really only had myself to blame.
I sure didn't want deal with this at all.
One thought was I was glade I had pictures of my cue so I could hang reward signs around town.

I had to wait till noon to for the bar to open up.
As soon as I walked in, the owner reached behind the bar and handed my cue to me.
I ask who found it, they said the bar tender Jennifer .
I gave them a twenty dollar bill and asked if they would give it to her, and say thank you very much.
It still took 5 or 6 hrs for my heart to settle down.

Geez Mike. By the header, I thought that you had a Heart Attack and had to leave the cue behind. Scared the crap outta me, considering what you have been going thru lately.

On a side note. Everyone notice that Mike uses a Pink Pen.

Hahahaha.

PS - Glad it was just a little heart starter and nothing serious Buddy.

I would hazard a wild guess by looking at the bumper. You can see the oke, in between the non visible C and R.

That and Mikes main player is a Coker. It is in his sig line. And I agree, it tis a nice looker.

I gotta admit, it's quite the looker! Nothing to have a heart attack over tho... Well, at least His Coker. If it were my Coker...

Mike sold me mine and I just love it! In fact, he's making me a chalker to match. Yes, that does make me kinda special!

Mike I'm glad you got your cue back. And I agree, nice touch with the $20.00!

Killer looking cue. Glad you got it back.

I don't even let my team watch my fancy cues when I have them in some bars. Take em in the bathroom lol

one thing i do that might help others ..
I keep joint protectors in my pocket, when i am ready to leave i usually feel them when trying to reach for my car keys. It has saved me a couple of times ...

Mike! This past Thursday, (Thanksgiving Day) I pulled out my prized PIERCE Cue from my 4x8 butterfly case and stuck it in a George 2x4 I had, not wanting to haul a bunch of wood to my Godson's house. I played with it for about two hours, then put it back in the case and went home. When I arrived home, I put the 2x4 in the closet where it usually stays. Yesterday, I pulled out the 4x8, opened it, and almost had YOUR heart attack!!
I couldn't for the life of me think of where I had left my Pierce. I was sick!! Then....Duh, after about twenty minutes remembered the George case. This episode just about knocked the socks off of me. I know exactly how you must have felt. So Glad you got yours back as well.

Damn Mike, I'm happy you got that Cue back. Otherwise,
I'd have to spot you a couple balls from now on. Ha !

Oh Yeah, we gotta do that one again. I've been itching for some Pool at Buffalo's.
Howzabout we match up on a Sunday and play until Tuesday real soon ?
Cheap rooms abound in Reno from Sunday - Thursday, and we still have
to check out the Lobster Buffet at Boomtown on Sunday night.
