Hey guys, I'm looking for an instructor in the North/South Carolina area. I stay in a rural part where all the decent pool halls are around 2 hrs away but I really need to add something to my struggling game. I feel if I had a little mentoring I could really make something out of this.

Country Retreat Family Billiards

Go over there, near Boone, NC, Chris will give you a tune up on those Gabriel tables.

Grady Matthews...Lexington, SC.

Edited to add: If you play REALLY, REALLY, REALLY bad then I'm near Charlotte & could do a little "mentoring" for $10/$20 a rack.:D
KV<<<<<<<believes it not stealing.:D

October 19-21 to be specific! :D...and to the OP, if you can't get to any of the fine gentlemen listed, I might be able to come see you where you live. PM me if you're interested... There's also John Sherlock, BCA Certified Instructor, in Asheville, NC.

The pool school in October is going to be awsome if you can make it. If you can't, send me a pm or e-mail and I will work with you one-on-one...I'm in Charlotte.

I just finished Allison Fisher's Billiard Academy Sunday who along with Gerda Hofstatter taught some things this old man never knew before. It was an awesome experiece and in Charlotte. 3-1 student to instructor ratio with tons of information to take home and continue developing your game. While I am sure the gents mentioned in response to your thread are very talented, Allison and Gerda are much more appealing to work closely with than Grady.

Send me an e-mail and I will answer specific questions you might have
