Interesting pool related ebay item

Tony was a very good player. Maybe the best one eyed player this side of Niels. He mixed it up with all the best roadmen of the time. I think he died in a car accident shortly after this.

He was a super bar player. I got a call at the pool room from a local bar known for its pool action saying there was a guy there looking to play, is anybody around. I said I'll come.

When I get there my friend Harry is already playing. He is getting the 7 from the guy. Of course I see it's Tony Howard. I don't want to knock the game in front of everybody so I leave. I go to the pay phone nextdoor and call the bar and ask for Harry.

Harry comes to the phone and I tell him who he is playing, not that the name meant anything to him. I tell him there is no way he is going to win the guy is a world beater. Harry say no he likes the game and I hang up.

About 4 am here comes Harry in the pool room. You can tell from his face what happened, he lost $1200.

Dude sounds like a beast. Gave someone he didn't know the 7, beat him for a solid payday and wrote what he won on the dude's face too.

Beastly.

Oh, man, I know this player through Keith. He's has a great memory of a happening with him. I'll see if I can find it in print.
