International Open 2025

Can't STAND watching one pocket on a livestream. NOBODY pays attention to what's going on. The announcers never know, the players don't even know, and the referee certainly is clueless, as to what is happening on the table.
Hall shoots 8 ball uptable, knocks both a stripe and the 8 into same pocket uptable, and the dumbass referee only spots the 8. NEITHER player noticed, the announcers didn't notice. Gomez shoots the spotted ball back uptable, then the dumbass ref sees the stripe in the ball return and goes to spot it, leaving Hall with a straight in bank. Somebody had to tell him that it doesn't spot until after Hall's inning. It's almost as bad as watching the NFL!

Is this a new Accu-Stats model of free livestream? Or maybe an isolated idea for this event? Is Pat still running the video production or is that now under AZBMike? I know Pat is running the tournament side.

I went last year as a player and def enjoyed myself. A very well run event. This year I couldn't make it.

They can put a ref's shirt on just about anyone. Any good referee should be well vetted before officiating a tournament, especially a major one.

Anyone surprised they didn't have Scott Frost on commentary for this? I think he was there doing it on the railbirdstv stream all day.
The best...especially for 1 hole.

Mark Wilson knocking elite level players gets old.
Somehow Seigel wasn't as annoying as I expected.

Including a new rule for me. Limit balls in the kitchen not by spotting the excess but by penalizing the shooter of the offending ball. Even the reverse might work. IOW extra ball over the headstring wins. Say the limit is 5 balls, 5th ball being winner, and there are 3 balls in the kitchen. Sending the 4th ball up table would immediately jeopardize that shooter, Kinda like the black and white stones game GO. :ROFLMAO:
