IPT COmmentators...who would you use

Ok everybody, i have read the post about the IPT commentators and i have to agree with alot of what some people have already said. I would vote for
hhmmmmmmm......Our own KEITH MCCREADY & Grady Matthews and maybe Danny Diliberto. I firmly believe that these 3 would do an excellent job and be unbiased and funny also and add some real color to it. I can just picture Keith now..."Well if he is going to play like that i gotta go have a couple of beers to loosen up and go give him the 6 out". I think comments like that and some friendly bantering about moments on the road by these gentlemen would do a hell of alot more thatn what we all witnessed and saw tonight..................mike

Right!! That would certainly do wonders to improve pool's image and maybe even guarantee major corporate sponsorship and pool's acceptance into mainstream America. I hope that you are kidding, aren't you?
 
I'm certainly going to have to agree with putting Danny D in the booth. He's got the ability to analyze and add color to the broadcast. A good story every now and then never hurt anyone. Same goes for AZB's own Grady Matthews imho.
 
if anybody suggests allen hopkins then they deserve a swift uppercut to the jaw projecting them into the air and onto a table where they land in a bowl of punch.
 
The best commentary I've heard to date came from Incardona, Danny D, and Grady. I'll also throw in Rempe, Buddy, and maybe Varner. But I know these gentlemen are going to be playing so forget it... Accu-stats' got it down pat.
 
anyone who commentated on accustats should do it for the ipt, i agree either incardona or grady. even buddy since he is out for the time being would be a good fit for it.

Seriously though. Grady Matthews, Billy Incardona. nuff said.

I was really looking forward to the finals and knowing that there would be a post about the commentary as soon as the event was over I started to think I would do an experiment: When the coverage started I turned the sound off and started my own color commentary and recorded it so I could replay it to my pool playing friends at the first opportunity. The opportunity arrived early this morning. I played it for my friends, they turned on me...LOL I had to escape by resorting to Kung Foo moves just too get to my car...I am now speeding down the highway with a number of cars chasing me....I'm on my moblile internet connection....HELP ME IF YOU CAN!!!!
 
Ok...everyone get ready to fall out! I would have to vote on Grady being one of the commentators (despite past posts I have made about him on other subjects). He and Incardona have a great chemistry when working together on the commentaries on the ACCU-stat matches. Another well knowledged player that I think could contribute alot to the commentary is David Maddux. This guy, Maddux, deserves alot more recognition for his play than he gets. Its a shame that he cant play much anymore due to his condition, but a great commentator for the IPT, he would make.

How about David Brenner and Grady Matthews, with Mr. Brenner teasing stories out of Mr. Matthews.
