"Jam, I'm sorry I wrote that Keith is an alcoholic over-the-hill player who is going to lose his tour card, and that you are his enabler, but hey some other guy said DP cues are junk so I guess it was okay". macguy, you are just the flavor of the month. It will pass. I have been there & now choose to not try to discuss anything with JAM because it breaks down to some bar room type argument with no meaning. In one sentence she will call you troll or me crackpot but in another states "then they make personal attacks. I'm tired of it."


All this makes me think---Here, in St Louis, when Kurt Warner was dogging it in a few football games the call in shows on the radio became quite harsh. They wanted Kurt Warner, Super Bowl MVP, not Kurt Warner the shell shocked & beat up player. Who came to his defense on the radio? His wife. That only made it worse.

I wonder if Barry Bonds is trying to convince his wife to come to his defense about steroids.

With a little reading you will find this has nothing to do with me. You will see any time KM's name is mentioned she goes nuts, name calling and totally out of line every time, I'm just her current target.

I don't think I do, regardless though, when the tournaments do get started and the play begins people will finally have something of substance to talk about and the players are going to be a big topic of the conversation on here like it or not. They best not even read if they are thin skinned and or do things that draw controversy. Even regarding my comments about some of the players may have a tough time. I would expect to have gotten back a response like, "Yea, it's going to be a tough row to hoe and they better buckle down and get in the best stroke of their lives", that is the truth whether they want to admit it or not.

Instead I just got insulted and called names, go figure. I have played in many many tournaments and have attended hundreds and I can tell you. Many of those players don't take it very seriously including the top players. They would show up out of stroke or be up all night playing pool or cards and just basically hope the magic would happen when they needed it. Those kind or habits will not keep them on a tour with this format and level of play. They were fanatics at one time or they could not have reached the level of play they have and they are going to have to get that mind set back to survive. Some may not have had that kind of real drive in them in years. One or two bad tournaments could just take all the heart out of them especially with what's on the line. It will be interesting, but it's still months away.

I mean the assholes that were there wouldn't let him shoot a single shot without harrassing and heckling him. Stuff they weren't doing to other players. When other players were shooting the pit was generally quiet towards the player shooting. With Keith they were making comments about the Color of Money and everything else. Just world-class jerkoffs.

When Keith made the nine against Wiseman and I won $60 I gave Keith $40 just to piss off the jerks who were betting against him and sharking him.

I agree Keith always catches the end of some jealous poolplayers crap I have played Keith and if you are a gentleman to him he is a very respectful player. He gets my respect for being a genius in the 9 ball game. I would dare to say when he is feeling it everyone sits and watches mouths wide open. Might be 20 games you get a four rail kick once (true story happend last year). I have seen him play as well as anyone probably ever has will or does while he has to take crap from 100 people for haveing good timing and a good time in life. I think Keith will do fine on the IPT. He definently IS NOT one of the weaker players. Keith can get played anywhere but, when he's on he won't lose anywhere on planet Earth.

The thing is the same can be said for many players and a few are on the IPT tour. Keith is one of them so have some respect for that. It is afterall not a hard thing to do in life. Respecting someone's job shouldn't be alot to ask. I meen if I show up to your fastfood work and kept heckling you about the way the burger meets the bun you probably wouldn't be the best fastfood team member you usually are or how about while your setting trusses on the top plate maybe you fall maybe you don't but, I hope this never happens to you. The real shame is some still wan't to see him fall.

IMO Uninformed, Unrealistic, Uneducated, Unbelievably Stupid! How can anyone take this stuff seriously? Are you talking about professional Wrestling? That must be it. You are a WWF Fan aren't you! I hate to break the news to you but WWF is fake! YOU CAN'T FAKE POOL. IF YOU MISS EVERY SHOT AND LOOK LIKE A COMPLETE BEGINNER, YOU CAN'T THROW A CHAIR AND GET RATINGS! Cmon Bernie cut the crap. This is not a circus. This is most of the players' primary source of income, not some hobby, do not do the sport and its players a disservice by turning it into a freaking zoo. They have worked for years honing their fantastic skill level, only to be replaced by hacks, dwarves, circus clowns, Vince Mcmahon and the like. I certainly hope your pipe dreams do not become reality!

LOLz...exactly...pool is and always be a prim and proper sport. People don't understand that, that's why it will always have limitations to how popular it can become unfortunately...mainly because pool is not the WWF (think God) or football....how many pool players can negotiate muti-million dollar contracts...
