I don't think it's biased. It's worded carefully to not be biased. It's cool you're a fan, and I respect him as a pool player. Even you have to admit this poll isn't slanted the slightest bit. Both options lean to the extreme of the given side (because I think you either love him or hate him).

I think this is a good representative sample of the pool community.

Only cause I like you I will not remind you that you can't beat charlie williams either. Poll is not biased at all.
 
Im not defending charlie on the moral front, just his pool game. I was hoping he would make the team on points. If he broke better in ten ball he'd be on the team.

No because your poll choices were too broad. Too many variables. Anyone reading this could think it's not because CW is a bad choice but because everyone has a player they like better - not necessarily anyone consistently picked. Better options would have been:

Do you think CW is a good choices?
Yes
No

Who is a better pick for Team USA's captain?
Dennis Hatch
Charlie Williams
Anyone other than Charlie Williams

Let me just say this: I don't get worked up about pro pool.

I love Earl, though I think he should clean up his act a bit; I am well aware of some of the skullduggery involved with many pro events and "action" match ups; and I have seen a wide variety of antics in a variety of venues from "the pros." All of that is OK by me. It's part of the deal.

But then there is CW and, frankly, he induces a visceral reaction.

I have been to the Mosconi Cup several times, and when I visualize myself in the stands, trying to root for the American team -- with CW as the captain -- I turn cold. I want no part of it and will not be a party to it.

I would have to say no, but if he is their choice, I am behind Charlie 100%.
Prove me wrong Charlie, hell I have been wrong before. But please not the winder thing.

I think it would be nice to use the super stars from yesteryear, Mike Segel, Buddy Hall, our own Grady Matthews, and a lot more to choose from. How about someone from AZ, now that would be nice.
