Like I told Max on FB many times it literally does not matter to the common man whether the earth is flat or not. That status does not affect a normal person's day one bit.

Max seems to think that if people knew the earth was flat that it would make people overthrow the current power structure (and lead to what I don't know)...I say it wouldn't matter at all because most of us would go, ok, the world is flat, so what?

My understanding of it is once they are fully up and running anyone who ponies up the $200k can go for a ride. I agree with the rest of your statement but playing devils advocate I think its something along the lines of well if they lied to us about this then what else are we being lied to about and why?
 
I'd like to read Max's theory on aiming conspiracy instead. ��

I get it but again how would your life change if you knew "the truth"?

I don't know if you ever read Sci-Fi but the Hyperion series is a pretty heavy read if you are into thinking about what is "real" and what isn't.

Max, and most flat earthers, have very little concept of scale. They don't get how large the earth actually is and how tiny we are in comparison. The volume of the atmosphere is completely beyond their ability to reason.

Yes, the "government" lies. People in power cover shit up all the time just like people who aren't in power do. Would anything they have to say cause social upheaval and chaos? I doubt it.

Unless of course they are hiding the secret to eternal healthy life. Because I would sure as hell like to stop pushing dead cow skins and just travel the planet to enjoy all that can be experienced.
 
Everything we can see in the sky is round, or at least an orb shape, why would anybody thin k that Earth is the only thing flat?
As far as the moon landing conspiracy, Russia was privy to what we were doing with Apollo and they tried to land an unmanned craft on the moon in a last ditch attempt before Americans set foot on the moon, why would they play along with the alleged conspiracy? I do not remember because it was before my time (Mercury/Gemini) or I was too young (Apollo) but I am told we were in a race with Russia to land humans on the moon.

As I said I agree with your thought, as in I doubt my everyday life would change if I found out the world was flat. As to anything else; well you don't know what you don't know so I really couldn't speculate.

PS, if there was a secret eternal life solution would that not in fact certainly ensure the end of mankind at some point due to over population and all problems associated with it?

Don't you hate it when every scientist in every country conspires and succeeds at hiding the truth from you? We can't agree on our politics or religions, but at least they found common ground on hiding an unimportant truth from us.

We're all members of something like the Truman show, but on a larger scale than "Seahaven".
 
Is it possible that the reason Max plays better pool than most is because he has discovered the balls aren't actually round? Turns out we should have been using "air hockey" technique to swoop the flat discs into pockets.
 
Most that have strange theories simply enjoy trying to create doubt in others and or changing their mind. I doubt most actually believe it they simply like to argue and attempt to prove people wrong.
 
For the edification of readers here, it is important to remember that time is non-linear. There is no past and there is no future. It is always only now. Everything that has happened continues on happening and everything that will occur is presently occurring.

Further, learning is only remembering.

Personally, I believe that the earth is a cube and that there are no planets outside of our milky way. Any "evidence" of matter outside of the milky way is a "Potemkin village" broadcast on our night sky by aliens on Mars in order to lure us into space exploration in order to more efficiently harvest our life force.












Also, all of the above is some straight up bullsh$it, but someone somewhere probably believes it. If you happen to believe it, I've got more to tell you, but it will require a $10,000 retainer (I accept paypal).

Did he discuss the underground tunnels? Apparently there are thousands of tunnels that are being used to frack horizontally. And don't get him started on the family of giant insects living inside the sun. Highly intelligent, These little buggy's can control everybody's cell phone. I'm not kidding. Just listen to the crickets, that's how they communicate.
