Is Max Eberle as big as a goof as I now think?

I don't follow or even know how to log onto facebook, you book, twiddly de or whatever those frigging things are, and I don't know this guy, but if this guy really believes this shit, somebody better get the nets ready cause I'm guessing he's just a banana peel slip away from doing something crazy.

One of the problems we live with in this great country of ours is that we have to allow these wack jobs to walk among us. Every once in a while something really crazy or even bad comes of it. The cost of being free I suppose.

IMO, If he really thinks this, he ain't right and he needs a leash.

How far would a nut job like this be from starting to believe all these people he thinks are conspiring against him are now a danger to him?

There follows, if that scenario is plausible, what would a nut cake do in that situation to these dangerous people? I don't think one frame of mind is too far from the other.

Some of these things seem funny, and some are big red flags that are ignored until something bad happens. I don't know anything about this guy, but you all close to him should consider that is may not be all kicks and giggles, or if it is ... it may not remain that way.

I don't find this kind of stuff humorous. A screw is loose and if it comes undone completely who can predict what's next. That's how I'd look at people like this. They need help and when they don't get it ... all future bets are off on behavior.

At least he is not claiming to "know" that the earth is flat... he is just saying that after studying it for a while and weighing the information he believes the world to be flat.

Props to Max for saying what he believes even though he knows a lot of arguers are going to jump on him without even studying the subject for themselves simply because Spinning ball earth is the popular view.

If Max really believes the Earth is flat, then he is far from intelligent.

Maybe what NASA should do is take all of the flat Earth idiots (like Max) , put them in a shuttle to go into space to see how wrong they are. Then NASA can say, "Told ya! Oh, and by the way, we "accidentally" didn't leave enough fuel for you to return back to Earth."

Max is far from "Dangerous" he does not eat meat for his love of animals!

But, we are to believe he is "dangerous" because you say so. His believes and passion about the subject do not make him dangerous. It makes him strange in the opinion of Xenophobes that want to either convert everyone to their way of thinking or else! People like this are "More" dangerous than Max could ever be, because they can't or refuse to stay in their lane. In someone else's Kool Aid and don't know the flavor.

Where did I say he was dangerous? I didn't say he was dangerous. I said I didn't know the guy. I read he believes everyone is conspiring against him with this flat earth thing. I said crazy begets crazy and don't discount anything.

Maybe you're dangerous since you can't read.

That is the primary subject matter. Your post eluded to him being dangerous and violent or subject to snap and that could be true of anyone. But, not Max in my opinion for the reasons stated

that's why the "Holocaust" happened as the Jews were different and not the same as everyone else and thus they must be eradicated. Much more dangerous to society then an isolated lone wolf scenario.

My post was not intended to elude to him as being dangerous, merely to point out the dice upstairs have been shaken and you can't guarantee how they will fall .

Unstable people do not have to act in a rational manner. You may be 100 % correct, but today's Mother Teresa may be tomorrow's Beelzebub.

The thing about people who are not rational, is that they are not rational, and therefore cannot be evaluated the way rational people evaluate other rational people.

My point was, people this lost need to talk to a doctor since he is not firing on all cylinders. When your car is not running right, you have it looked at, but all too often when people aren't running right .... we laugh it off and ignore it.

I suggest that family or friends consider that rather than think nothing is wrong and it is somehow humorous only to find out down the road his condition is progressive rather than a funny quirk that couldn't lead to anything else.
 
Many of the flat earthers also believe in the revisionist opinions of Hitler. Eric Dubay the flat earth guru has a number of links on his sites promoting Hitlers agenda towards the Jews.

I stopped following Max on FB for that reason after I pointed it out to him. I got into some online arguments with a few of these neo-nazi types.
