anyone else think its funny that the one mens tourney they put on TV has earl and shawn in the finals. I mean its a very unlikely final. I could see someone turn to that channel and be like " oh look, earl stickland is still on the top of the pool world I see" lol I think its an injustice to all the players that win big tournaments, such as the US open and dont get televised nationally. Just Sayin.

For the first Men's match on TV in a while. I think it's awesome that it's Shawn "Big Bubba" Putnam vs Earl "The Pearl"
Strickland.

This is so great for our sport.

I think it's great for men's pool also. I'm rooting for Earl here. To Earl:Please behave. If Earl just talks to the crowd and doesn't go on tilt he will do well, pool will do well, and maybe more TV and sponsors will come of it. Johnnyt

Are you implying it is a conspiracy? That guys laid down?

I think the finals should be live on fox. What do they have to lose? Most people will be watching NFL games anyway

People do watch when Earl plays...the injustice is we can't see it.

How do you pull "im implying a conspiracy" from that. Im simply saying that they barely ever show pro tournies on TV and when they do its two guys that hardly win on the pro tour. Is that untrue? If you were to pick the top ten players in the world that you'd expect to see on tv right now it'd would be earl and shawn? No disrespect to either of these great players, but neither of them are at the top of the pool world right now. Look at the money list for 2010, hell 2009 2008 2007 2006....
 
Well, perhaps Fox can at least break some new ground on another front and show more than 1 hour of edited coverage. 90 minutes or 2 hours would be even better (if the match took that long).

I misunderstood your comment. Why I said that is because the broadcast had apparently been planned before the tournament started, so for it to be fishy for Earl to be in the finals implied that people were allowing him to win
